I've been drinking bourbon almost as long as these two have been alive. Back when Rock Hill Farms sat on the shelf for $30, and that was an expensive bottle. It's funny how the "bourbon boom" has changed things.
These recent Michters 10s have been fantastic. And $200 is fine for them if we compare to MSRP

Nice! I picked up Michters 10yr bourbon at BevMo about two months ago for 200.00 it’s a fantastic pour! IMO all Michters have a rich robust flavor and great viscosity for being low proof! Cheers

I was lucky enough to get a bottle of this when I visited their tasting room in January. It's simply amazing juice.

Ugh, 2 weeks ago I picked up a 24A for MSRP of $180 and was hoping you were reviewing a 24A... Still haven't cracked it yet but LOVED my 23E bottles last year.

I got a barrel strength at msrp so how does that generally compare to this 10yr sib. Never had either. Had never seen either available which is why I got it.
I really like the Michter's US 1 Bourbon and want to try the Michter's US1 Rye. I haven't seen this bottle on the shelf, but at $200 Im fine with it! 🥃Cheers!
Y’all have to give ASW a try; their Fiddler series is really good, especially their toasted and toasted rye. There’s other channels that are starting to come around and discover ASW and have been very impressed. They’ve become a staple on my bar

I sampled last years batch A and batch E. Both were awesome. Asked a bartender at Michters and they never heard about the batch differences. No one knows for sure

Michters is ALWAYS the best low proof whiskey. It starts with the American Unblended. It’s like 84 proof and unbelievable
Isn’t the 24 series the first for their own distillate? So I’d imagine it tastes relatively different than the Brown & Forman sourced juice

Michter's didn't get their own production (Shively) running until late 2015 / early 2016. Given the M10s tend to be older than 10 years, we probably have a couple more years to go

Who is the tool? I’m genuinely confused.
A batches last year tasted considerably better than all other batches. I tasted several A batches and they were all noticeably better than my E batch. Numerous people tasted same as I did and we all agreed there was a noticeable difference.
Personally not a huge fan of a long finish and aftertaste as I find if it lingers in your mouth too long you get bored of it faster.

UNDER $200!!!!! You lucky SOBs. I paid $400 for last years bottle and that was BEFORE the hype train started naming it WOTY. Once the media hype started, the bottle jumped up to $500. I won't even bother with this years bottle since it's only available for secondary.
$30 pour of a $200 bottle? Keep dreaming.
I mean even at that price they're making 750 off of a bottle on 1 oz pours and buying it for around $150
Its 35$ for an oz of the 10 yr rye at my bar... that's a 220$ bottle.
Unless they can provide proof of higher age , it's a pass at that price
