Lynda Carter. Female perfection to this day. If I ever saw her in person, I'm pretty sure I'd have to look away, like looking at the sun. Much the way women are with Henry Cavill.

This was a wonderful video. I was so excited to see Wonder Woman in the original broadcast. Like you, I much preferred the 1940s setting. The contemporary version was kind of bewildering and silly. I only watched because I thought Lynda Carter was fabulous.
Faithful to the source material, perfectly cast, high production values, played (mostly) straight, Wonder Woman provides the shoulders on which today's billion-dollar superhero movies stand on.
yeah, it was a pity that fewer comic book shows took off in US prime time in the 70's. The only other long running (marvel or DC) series was The Incredible Hulk.
I enjoyed the show much more when it was moved to a contemporary setting and the sci-fi elements became over-the-top. Linda Carter was so perfect for that role especially in terms of her physical appearance. Overall a very fond childhood memory.
Lydia Carter was a great Wonder Woman. I grew up watching Wonder Woman as a kid in the kid in the 70’s. I was born in 1966. Wonder Woman was one my favorite superhero.
Omg, this show brought me into puberty. Great theme song. I remember Linda Carter from an episode of Starsky and Hutch. I remember when Debra Winger came on as Wonder Girl.

You make a lot of really good points in this. First season always the best season. After that you can literally feel the studio and placement and all that. It gets in the way.
Yeah there were a few stunts she did actually do herself, surprisingly enough!
