Siobhan stole my heart at that time. And she still does. She was not only different then, compared to her two other colleagues at Bananarama but also from all the other stars from the eighties scene....
I think Soibhan was, (and still is), more rebelious & vocal than the others. Brings back great memories when life was FUN, not like now with everyone so easily offended & moaning about everything.
When you are a "Replacement" in a Group you're tolerated but not thought of as a "Actual" Group Member. Remember when The Supremes were inducted into The Rock 'N Roll Hall Of Fame. No mention of Cindy Birdsong who replaced Florence Ballard in 1967.
It really annoys me Jacquie gets ignored too. I absolutely love her and think she has a phenomenal voice. You can tell this reunion is all about money, cos if you notice Siobhan and Keren barely acknowledge each other's existance in interviews or during performances!
Always seems that way in entertainment. If you're not part of an original line up or cast. I remember reading how Cheryl ladd never had the acknowledgment in charlie's angels when she replaced farrah fawcett.
Thanks for uploading this! It's so funny as just last week I posted somewhere how bummed I was when Siobhan left, can't believe they're all back together, the tour is going to be so special!!
It Is A Rare Oppurtunity To See THe Three Bananarama Women Of Britain. One Of The Best Female Groups With Many Melodious Songs.!!!!!!!.......MuraliMohan...AP. .INDIA....
Sarah's comment, "then Siobhan left in....19...88(?), and we went in a world tour and we had the time of our life" is for me a hint, that she still feels bitter about it, although they never quarreled in public.
I feel like in trio friendships there's usually two that end up getting along better and start to conspire against one or the other and it can change up too at least with younger women. Strange thing..
Yes this happened to me, I had two friends in my 20s for 3 years we went everywhere together and holidays abroad, but they were always bickering and slagging each other down and even fought a couple of times, I always felt in the middle, until I discovered the one I trusted most was revealing confidences about me to outsiders, so i cut her off and became closer with the other.. now days though none of us speak anymore lol
The only question I have is, why don't they ever seem to mention the brilliant guys from Fun Boy Three including one of Britain's best crooners, Terry Hall? Deep Sea would not have been Deep Sea without them - did they part on bad terms? Cheers then :)
No, they are better with Siobhan. She added energy and enthusiasm to what they brought on stage. She is better at audience interaction than they are. They spent a lot of time talking with each other instead of their fans. All those sold out concert dates and the enthusiasm of the crowds? It’s not because of Keren and Sara. No, Siobhan was back with her girls and Bananarama fans were ecstatic to have all three together again, if only for a little while.
They're no different to 99.9% of the so called music around today then are they?! Didn't stop them becoming the most successful female group of all time either.
They couldn’t sing a note? If that was true, then Sara and Keren wouldn’t have been a successful touring act for three decades now. And if you have ever heard Siobhan perform acoustically, you would know that she can flat out sing.

She's always had something special.
Great to see Siobhan back. They still look amazing
Love Siobhan! My fave. 🇺🇸
I fancy them a lot more now than I did as a 14yr old in 1982. And that's REALLY saying something. Wahey!
I love Keren the most.
I think Soibhan was, (and still is), more rebelious & vocal than the others. Brings back great memories when life was FUN, not like now with everyone so easily offended & moaning about everything.
Love them! Wonderful to se e them together again!
This is my childhood
Siobhan looks beautiful and stylish as always x So utterly BRILLIANT
How is she brilliant cure for cancer? Lol
wtf?? your remark makes no sense you must be a foreigner
They were also the first UK Girl Group to do the US Show American Bandstand around 1981.
I saw them play in Manchester in December 2017. Cracking show.
The presenter has a look of keren.
My god they're more gorgeous now than ever. I can't decide which Banana I prefer... And fair play, they wrote their own stuff too, I didn't know that.
They could at least have mentioned poor Jacquie when talking about touring in 89. Glad to see the trio back.
THANK YOU! It kinda bugs that NO ONE has mentioned her in any interview I've seen so far. I saw that tour and Jacquie was great.

@@laminage Same with Arnel Pineda of Journey. It's all about Steve Perry although Arnel's been with the band longer than Steve ever was.

They are lovely, musical, feminine, affectionate and, of course, very sexy. BBC TV art at its best!
bananarama you ladies can do it with new hits. show the world who you ladies are. god bless you girls. I grew up with yous I am your ages. god bless.
Thanks for uploading this! It's so funny as just last week I posted somewhere how bummed I was when Siobhan left, can't believe they're all back together, the tour is going to be so special!!
Love you Girls ALWAYS!
The GREAT old days

Siobhan especially looks so young. She's almost 60. She honestly could pass for 30 or younger.
30 really. LMAO she takes the heavy makeup off and she'd scary.
She's
Maybe 10 yrs younger, but 30 yrs, no way.
Yeah fucking right lol. 40 maybe

What a trio, miles better than the Spice Girls.

5:15 Carol was enjoy herself with this
She does. Steph too. Louise always seems quite reserved. Nothing from naga.
5:02 Charlie did not know what he was doing keep trying Charlie
Karen. It's ALWAYS been Karen...! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Siobhan was and is a punk girl, Keren gothic and Sara new wave
I never listened to these ladies and they were ahead of my time but in the words of Borat. "Wahwahweewah"
The only question I have is, why don't they ever seem to mention the brilliant guys from Fun Boy Three including one of Britain's best crooners, Terry Hall? Deep Sea would not have been Deep Sea without them - did they part on bad terms? Cheers then :)
They are mentioned in Keren and Sara’s autobiography Really Saying Something.
Carol was enjoying do that
Siobhan se fue solo por que se caso Con Dave Stuart ? o tubieron algun drama ?
creo que tuvo problemas con el productor de bananarama en 1988,no se podian ni ver y por eso se fue.
You fancy a song
S slated the SAW songs now she loves them??
Operation Airbrush Jacqui
They never went on tour in the 1980's??? Weird
I don't think many bands did "world" concert tours before the late 80s.
They toured with jacqui.
They were meant in 1986 but because Keren was pregnant with Tom, they had to scrap the whole tour, eventually they did a tour with Jacquie in 1989
Where's Jacquie O'Sullivan?
Sadly rarely gets mentioned. Great voice. She is friends with Shiobhan.
Def some tension there still, to be honest keren and Sara are better alone

they never mentioned Jacquie O'Sullivan so nasty of them!!!
They answered the questions that they were asked. None of the hosts mentioned Jacquie.
why didn't they go on tour ?.......................because they couldn't sing a note
They're no different to 99.9% of the so called music around today then are they?! Didn't stop them becoming the most successful female group of all time either.
They did back in 1989 when Jacquie was part of the group

@@thomashong2938 I have.....and they were awful....then and now......they got lucky with the fun boy 3
cover version queens.....did they actually sing anything original?
Cruel Summer,Shy Boy,Love in the First Degree,I Heard a Rumor,I Want You Back among others.
lol, they wrote their own songs fool. OTHERS cover their songs.
