As a Mario McDonalds Toy 2017 connoisseur, here are a couple of things I noticed. Your red shell is 100% defective, the two I have reel back just fine. I am shocked your toy bags open so easily, the ones in Canada are like ridiculously hard to rip trash bags. The Luigi is supposed to be shot at ground level, so the wheels on his stomach make him travel farther. No clue why yours is so trigger-happy. And lastly, I have a couple of the sitting Mario toy kicking around. You press a button on the back, and he waves! Not the greatest action, but he looks really good on a shelf. If only you had a PO box or something, I could send one to you and enable your fast food toy addiction, lol. And lastly Merry 15th Anniversary Peebs, all these years, and you are still one of my biggest inspirations!

Only perk of working at McDonald’s was being able to make sure I got each unique toy in the set. Also the piranha plant and interchangeable blocks along with the Mario one you didn’t have were available in Canada. We didn’t get the 1up mushroom or the jumping Mario with sound.

I've collected Mario for nearly ten years so I absolutely went for these and I still have all of the U.S ones to this day. I don't have the region exclusive ones unfortunately but maybe one day. Also tested the sound on my Mario and 1 up mushroom. Same result as you, my Mario no longer works but my 1 up mushroom does.

I especially remember the Yoshi one at the very beginning! I was in middle school when it came out. I remember that was when fidget spinners were all the rage, but I didn't have one, and instead had what I called my "fidget Yoshi" (which was that toy), and played with that in class instead. So I remember the Yoshi toy very well.

It would be cool if you had a mini pack of shells with a green or some colored pipe shooter launcher thing for the shells to go into and get shot out of. That should have made the red shell toy even better it’s the Luigi toy concept for the red shell.

Also, the region-specific toys actually came out in Mexico too! (Believe it or not) I live there and was pretty stunned to learn those region specific ones didn’t come out in the U.S! They’re the most common ones out of the collection to find at a flea market LOL

As a Kid (Im European btw) I remember having the Red shell AND bowser toy, but I remember the RED SHELL being REALLY GOOD! I would pull it back like 5 cm (or about 2 inches) and it would go like an entire METER (about 3 feet and 3 inches)

I especially remember the Yoshi one at the very beginning! I was in middle school when it came out. I remember that was when fidget spinners were all the rage, but I didn't have one, and instead had what I called my "fidget Yoshi" (which was that toy), and played with that in class instead. So I remember the Yoshi toy very well.

As a Kid (Im European btw) I remember having the Red shell AND bowser toy, but I remember the RED SHELL being REALLY GOOD! I would pull it back like 5 cm (or about 2 inches) and it would go like an entire METER (about 3 feet and 3 inches)
