I was a bit hesitent in clicking the video because it was over 10 mins long but it was totally worth it! what you spoke about really helped me and was completey relevant, thank-you so much :) x
Thank you! Im however left with an aditional question. The added page does come with an uneditable heading: "New Page"; do you know how to get rid of it?
You should be able to control the page name by clicking on the little cog looking icon for Settings when in the Elementor page editor. Hope that helps!
Glad it was helpful! We can certainly take a look at your website for you and provide feedback! Just email your website to team@ballenbrands.com and we'll take a look!
Hi- I already have the menu set up, then created the pages after. How do you link the content page to the correct navigation name without it being a drop down option? Thanks!
Hi...great tutorial. Question: When I create a new page and switch to Elementor for editing, (whether its' a content page, archive page etc...), how does it know which Theme Builder template to pull from ('single page', 'posts archive', 'search results' etc...)?
Thank you! When a site is built using Elementor Theme Builder templates, each template has a "Display Conditions" setting that determines what type of pages (or specific pages) that template is applied to. To find this setting, edit a theme builder template, click the arrow next to the Update button in the bottom left corner, and click "Display Conditions". Hope this helps!
@@BallenBrands Hi...it does...I figured that out. Now I have other issues. I had multiple titles appearing (I figured that out) ....now I have 2 sidebars in a row on my test page after creating a template with a sidebar. I've been at this for a week...I'm about to give up frankly. This is SO NOT intuitive!
When editing the page with Elementor, click the gear icon in the bottom left corner to open the Settings panel. There is an option to "Hide Title". This may or may not work depending on how the theme and/or page templates are set up.
@@BallenBrands I have the same question only I do want to see the Title of the page on the page. My Hide Title is set to No but I do not see the title.
@@Kotaztrafee It sounds like maybe your page template is missing the marker for it, so it may be related to your page layout settings, or the theme itself.
@@BallenBrands ok. Thanks. I started building a site then for various reasons decided to start over with a different layout. I would like to continue with the original but I think the second one is conflicting with it somehow. I feel like I have to completely delete both and start all over....? Thanks for your time and reply.
Hi, I've created the page nd saved the template as well. But it's not showing up under the menus tab in Most Recents Or view all.. Do you have any idea why it's not showing up?
It sounds like maybe your Theme was not built using Elementor, therefore you're not getting the same options as shown in my video. If you're trying to add something to your navigation menu, you can do so from your admin by going to Admin - Menus
Thank you for the feedback! Although my website sample does have Yoast installed, Yoast is not required to complete the functions featured in this particular how-to video.
Thank you so much for making this. It was so helpful!
My pleasure! So glad it helped!

@@khollandtalks I understand. With great flexibility, comes some complexity as well!
How can i make the title not show in the page?
When editing the page with Elementor, click the gear icon in the bottom left corner to open the Settings panel. There is an option to "Hide Title". This may or may not work depending on how the theme and/or page templates are set up.

Thank you for replying, i sorted it. I think i went through menu option@@BallenBrands
when i click on add new page, nothing opens. Just a completely white space. I already watches a bunch of videos nothing works:((
I'm sorry to hear that. It sounds like there may be a conflict with the theme and plugin that you may need a developer to help you check out.
Are you using Elementor Pro ?
Yes, we use Elementor Pro
Did you forget to mention that you need to have yoast installed?
