Here's the link to Harley for anyone that needs it. Plug your bike info in at the top and all the parts that fit will pop up and you can narrow it down from there. There are the parts I've installed on my bike and the product specific links in the description

As someone who works on his own motorcycles and sees how little is there, I don't get paying that kind of money for one. I love bikes but let's be real, there's NOTHING THERE. When I look at a motorcycle I just don't see how they could possibly charge that price for one, especially when other companies can build a WHOLE CAR for less.

Bargain? All the rider aids and such are the reasons why not to buy this newer stuff. Get rid of modes, the tft screeen and vvt. Give back analogue guages. Just put on a real rear suspension, better pipes amd cam and all led lights. Those are the upgrades many of us want

If that’s what you’re looking for, you’d be better off just buying a 2014 and slapping on your own upgrades.
The reason that Harley riders get so much flack is in part due to the inability to embrace technology that is basically an industry standard everywhere else.
I’m sure there are at least a couple guys that won’t ride anything other than a knucklehead because it’s not a “ True Harley.”

@@paulhall8027 I agree, I love older Harleys for what they are, but I don't want to buy a new bike that is just a warmed over model. I have 2010 Goldwing that has more tech on it than the new Harleys. I bought it in 2020 because I thought HD needed to catch up. Now that HD is making strides catch up, I am looking in Harley's direction again.

@@jamessouthworth1699 What are you looking for exactly? The stock upgrades this year are numerous:
      All LED ( finally)
      Improved suspension ( Finally)
      Weight reduction
      Larger storage
      Improved wind screen and deflection
Larger stock engine ( more powerful than the 2023 117 in the ST )
      Redesigned stock seat ( finally)
      CVO style rear lighting
The point is, even if you take out the tech ( which is pretty much industry standard now ) , you’re getting a pretty much fully redesigned bagger that finally brings HD into the 21st century. Also, you get it for a substantially lower price than last year. I’m not sure how anyone can complain.

@@ViZ_FFA Yeah and guess what, the shills for these new bikes won't mention that Android phone owners are SOL, no android auto on the new bikes. Deal breaker! Won't be trading my '20 Street Glide anytime soon. Not to mention the $10K loss I'd have to take on it (and yes, I had a deal on paper with the local dealer to see where I was at, $10K loss on my SG from what I paid for it slightly used from a private party a year ago). Android Auto works beautifully on my bike. Stretched bags. Top speed way over 100.
All these "awesome changes" mentioned over and over in the video... just what exactly are they again? For my $14K to boot out the door? The screen that ends up with less space left over for nav by the time you get the speedo and tach displayed? Navagation that you have to pay an additional $350 to have for 3 years? The rider aids that cut your HP in the rain (in case this is your first day on a bike...)? The farkle farings with their LED's all over the place? The thinner plastic on the saddle bags (wiggle a saddle bag lid when open if you don't believe me) and thinner metal on the tank? The change to the seat that prevents previous seats from fitting? The Fischer Price inspired inner faring that looks really really cheap from the rider's seat? And yeah, that's what you see when you're riding it, dull cheap looking plastic everywhere. It just feels like you are sitting on a cheap, bargain bike from the rider's seat, all bias aside. To me that's the biggest noticable change cosmetically, it just looks so plasticky & cheap. Plastic speaker grills that look identical to the ten dollar 8 track tape player I had as a kid in the 70's? I want to like it, I want it to make me want to spend $14K but it just doesn't. I could go on and one with all the "awesome new changes" to these bikes that have the Hegshots jumping up and down. Oh yeah and I guess that "no start" thing is no big deal at all, huh?
The CVO's are beautiful. For $43K. That's the trick they played on us here. The plasticky basic bike, with a few new farkles to get the attention of today's attention span challenged buyer (yup, watch the video again if you don't believe me...), is a few thousand over the previous base bike's price. The CVO, which is TAKING THE PLACE IN HARLEY'S LINEUP OF THE SPECIALS from the past, is over ten grand more than the specials were! All at similar production costs as past model years, but MUCH HIGHER TRANSACTION PRICES. See what they did to us here? CVO's as they once were (very limited production, exclusive) no longer exist. The name CVO has taken the place of the name Special in Harley's lineup, for a ton more $$. CVO's are now and will be a dime a dozen (figuratively) at dealers everywhere, not exclusive at all, except for the high cost of admission of course. They are using the name "CVO" which had been a rare, exclusive limited production bike, on the current crop of "Specials" to make us want to pay $10K more for them.
The drawer in the batwing faring looks great, nice change there. The updated suspension that adds a little travel, yeah good thing, but Ohlins would do wonders on my '20 if ride quality was a problem which it really isn't. Or factory 13" takeoffs from an Ultra. I think that's basically what they did - add another inch or so to the rear travel by putting longer shocks on than a SG or RG had previously, right? Then put on a thinner or re-shaped seat to make the ride hight feel the same. Maybe tweaked the front end a little as well. Frame is identical so they did not do anything revolutionary to the geometry or ride quality that can't be done with shocks.
Sorry for the long rant, last point. The top speed of a Toyota Prius is over 100 MPH. They are NOT goverened at 100. Guess what - if you're riding a '24 with all that awesome new power you think you have... just don't get into a spat with a Prius on the freeway, 'cause that Prius is going to be able to drive away from you on top end. Or a little Honda CB500X adventure bike for example; he will pass you no problem, his top speed is 115. Or, me on my stock '20 Street Glide Special. Just sayin'...

For my first Harley, it was 2003 when the 100th Anni. models came out. Doc, the salesman at LHD suggested I look at a used bike to save money. I ended up with a 2002 RG and saved $5000 over a 2003 because everyone was trading in their bikes for the 2003 Anniversary bikes. So, there are upsides and downsides when the new models come out. If I could afford a new bike right now, I would look at the 2024 RG because I have a great credit union, so interest rates don't worry me at the dealer. The 2002 RG was financed at 23.99% at the dealer for 6 yrs. I refinanced it 2 days later at 3.99% for 5 yrs and saved $100 a month on the payments. I have some knee issues atm, but hopefully when I have recovered, the 2024 will be in the used bike market and I can get a good price on one.

Even trying to push sub $20k bike is going to be tough with today’s economic climate.
Hardcore wealthy HD riders will normally not have an issue paying over $30k for a bike but now I’m sure those who did regular trade in’s for newer models has sharply declined. Throw in those who aren’t onboard with the new styling and it will only slow sales even further.
At an HD dealership back in January and the sales guy said December was atrocious for new bike sales with only a few sold.

Far more than I expected, based on the "gloom and doom" rumors. And don't even get me started on the new CVO's...they were everywhere. I agree but if I'm the only one out there I ❤my 14 Firefighter Shrine Streetglide and 05 Deuce . I also have a little 15 Honda . These will be my last bikes . I tried to explain about the new bikes and services. Some smart ass says the obvious about the size of the sump ,primary, tranny plugs . That's not what I was talking about . It's the electrics ,with screens that are already having issues . No doubt needing specialized equipment to fix . A massive screen that has all the information on it . Speed ,tach , gas ect ect .What happens years down the road if that goes tits up ? Or anytime, anywhere , and your riding blind 🤔😵‍💫. So at least I fixed the Twin Cam tensioner issue on the Deuce and put Hayden M6 primary chain tensioners in both bikes . Not only the ASTRONOMICAL $$$$ Mr H wants for the new models but thinner cheaper materials like the metal in the tanks , seats , cheap looking plastics everywhere 🤢🤮and yeah I could afford one but it ain't happening. Oh and there are CVOS that used to be exclusive around now at two a penny so that's gone now EXCEPT the prices of them .🤙😎

Just bought a 24 Street Glide, traded in my 17 Ultra 128. They done great things with the cams and am getting 130T on the 117 with stock. Bike looks great, rides great, wants to take off and leave you standing in the street. My biggest issue is there's virtually nothing available from a performance standpoint. You can get a big air kit and add exhaust, but that is it. No stage upgrades available at all for the motor and am told not to expect any for at least a year. Outside of that, the windshield is quite low and leaves you getting blasted with air. It comes with the smoked version and the only thing Harley offers that is a little taller are clear versions. Handlebar controls are very busy. If you're wearing gloves, it's difficult to operate them because it's such a far reach for your thumb from the grip to the control. Especially on the throttle side, where when you want to change a song, trying to do that with gloves on will find you accidentally pulling the throttle open so be careful.

That still did'nt help either . And those "winglets" that are attached to the forks ..well they didn't do shit either . The whole thing with buying one of these bikes is for the fairing to mitigate the wind , As for the windshield ..its just for looks or like a ramp for the bugs , wind , debris and everything else to hit you in the face . The inner fairing looks a bit cheap too. The ride was nice in all the modes , rain , road and sport . I'm not sure what HD was thinking with the re-design of the fairings on these bikes but for me.. I'll keep my 16 Street Glide for now.

One upgrade from left side straight rollers on the crank. Go back to the taper timkins. Why didn't they just leave them alone? Costa never fail. Hardly literary came out with the Pan. American an off-road motorcycle and a screaming Eagle custom painted version. Who's gonna take that off-road? I could rattle a long list of things nobody likes about all new bikes.
For starters, you can't get a wrench in anywhere and they aren't designed to be easily user maintainable.
If you can't take a bike entirely apart by yourself and put it back together, don't buy it. Because someday, when you fix it or restore it, you will have to do just that. I look at modern bikes wrench in hand, and I say h377 no. There is no way I can get that Vtwin cylinder out to replace the head without taking the entire engine out of the bike, which I never want to have to do.
I see those side mounted ignition key holes where all your keychain will be hanging off the side of the bike... and I'm like... no. Just no.

So typical first year blues and I feel like I have a big "S" on my forehead... and it doesn't stand for Superman.

My 2023 Tri-glide anniversary was 48K out the door. I bought mine in Myrtle Beach in Aprill 2023 and went to FL on it the next day. I now have 8800 miles on it now.

A video on YT called "Crank no start" by Vtwin Revolution speaks to this issue and seemingly provides the cause and solution. He is a HD technician and explains that the 2024 models are voltage sensitive and goes into "voltage shedding" if the battery system is not full, or near full charge. Voltage shedding causes the bike to systematically shutdown different modes on the bike to conserve voltage. A cause he stated that would cause the issue is if you play around on the infotainment in aux mode or even having it sit without tender for an extended time etc. This was an issue with the Pan America as well. A solution is not to run the battery down without a charge supplying the system. He further states 2 amp tenders will not be sufficient and to purchase a 5 amp tender of your choosing. Lastly, he shows how to connect the 5 amp tender without using the pigtail so you can play around with infotainment or play music in aux mode without the crank no start after. I do not own a RG so I couldn't test what he said but maybe someone else here can and help put this worry to rest. I would be appreciative as well as someone in the market for the CVO ST but hesitant because of this.

True Harley riders will never ride an M8 Kawasaki built that motor. And they've had nothing but problems with it since day one. All you have to do is a little research. Before you drop $40000 on a rolling piece of shit

There is such a huge markup at the dealerships, I think they’ll be okay. And people with money to blow will probably not care about cost. In a few years the rev max will be another new standard. There’s plenty of time to break in my 2020 RGS before I even care about upgrading.

idk. I rode the new Low Rider S and ST. I preferred my Dyna over the new softail chassis.. To me the Dyna looks better, and it feels and sounds like a Harley. That is just my opinion though.

Hard Pass I do my own oil changes, that horn is right in my way, as if the oil filter was not enough of a pain in the ass and a mess, reliable!!!! When that $8,000 goes bad you are stuck with a perfect bike that can’t do anything without its precious little display.

Always wanted a road glide, went to the 24' deno event that was in my area. Road a road glide, street glide, and a road glide st. My back was hurting after riding them less than 5 miles in total. Suspension is stiffer than a board. Felt ever bump, crack, dip and rock that was on the road. Talked with some harley buddies and their solution was "oh ya everyone knows the stock Suspension sucks just get some legends of ohlins". Straight baffled me that people are ok with spending $26k+ on a brand new bike just to redo stuff that should have been right when you bought it.

I own a HD that I never ride. I've had too many break downs on it so I ride my Yamaha's and Honda's which are always reliable. Occasionally I'll jump on the HD to ride with guys in the club, but I'm always worried something is going to happen to the bike. I'm looking at the new HD's, but the price is a bit stiff. Two guys from my chapter bought new HD's last week at around 24k(23 year models). My first time to your channel. Thanks for your perspective on the bikes and I hope you get the problems with your 2024 ironed out.

    1. They did simplify their models. The base street glide was 22k in 2023 the base is now 26k. That is not lowering the price.
    2. Android Auto works fine on my 21 Ultra this is HD not adding support.
Love my HD but their sales pitch this year is utter bs.

Exactly! And the CVO effectively replaced the Specials in their lineup, for over $10K more than a Special. We have been tricked, can't believe more people aren't talking about this!

To be fair to HD, think it was just in the last year that Android made Auto not work on motorcycles. Thats why they only offer Apple carplay now. Beleive the no Android Auto only affects the new road and street glides with the new all digital screens.

The fucked up thing with new bikes is the dealer won’t work on my 2000 roadglide because it’s to to old and the more electronic shit you won’t be able to parts after 20 years you own a parts bike…. My roadglide is carb model no security system easy to fix

I went to my Local dealer To look at a used road Glide limited
Figured I'd ride a 24 as well. The 24 is a fantastic machine. The power, Suspension, and finally some Decent bars. The clutch pull was way to hard And the windsheild was absolutely useless. I ended up buying a 2020 road glide limited Zephyr blue. Sure. For about 3k more I coukd have gotten a brand new bike. But I'd have had to add bars, exhaust, seat, windshield, king tour pack. Etc to get what I wanted
