    Crusaders - some one who embraced the way of Christ, avoid sin, and be in any crusade no matter where and no matter who the enemy is to feel the stress with his fellow crusaders. To pray in holy lands but also fight people with different beliefs to defend/free Christians.

    Right on brother. The biggest misconception of the Templar Mound is that it was the location of king Solomons’ Temple and the 2nd Temple.
    The place where the Dome of The Rock stands was called the Templar Mound because it was the location of the Templar’s headquarters. Later because the name “Templar” is so close to the word“Temple” it was misconstrued as the location of the original Temple. THIS IS WRONG. The location of the original Temple was at the Gihon springs in the city of David. The place where the dome of the rock stands was the Roman fortress fort Antonio. This can be authenticated in the book Acts.

    Were the Templars the first military odear?

    • @EduardoFerreira-gi7wo
      @EduardoFerreira-gi7wo 5 років тому +5

      Military maybe, but not the first holy order, the hospitallers were the first holy order to exist, but they were morely an order of physicians that made a hospital in the holy land to treat the victims of the dangerous roads, the pilgrims. The hospitallers became also a military order some years after the Templars.
