Yes, to apply the hand brake the P button (just over the AUTO H button) has to be pulled

Is it on park or on e brake when using auto h?

It puts the e-brake on automatically and let’s go as soon as you touch the gas pedal

I used it pretty much most of the time, it’s very convenient for lazy driving. I turn it off for spirited driving
