+kcdnhntr slammed is stance..... excessive camber, being so low you can barely get over things, that's all stance, and it's not very functional. There may be a such thing as "functional stance" with minimal camber and slightly lowered, but the object of stance is never function.
widespread use of stance is usually directed to slammed cars. technically, stance is the fitment of the wheels, thus it being called "square stance" and "staggered stance." square stance is when you're running the same size wheel on all sides and staggered is the opposite.
@@mracidman2536 I'm afraid you are the dumb one here. A very slight camber has benefits for certain situations. No form of driving requires more than a few degrees. Especially cruising around on the streets in your Honda. Stance is not functional, so don't act like it is.
Sahl Ebrahim i ve owned 2 fds. Both I service every 6 months and check oil every 4 fill ups. And regardless of how well maintained they ve been I ve found reliability a lottery. Sometimes you can gl a year with zero issues. Other times it can break down every 4 uses due to minor things like hoses coming off. Generally the lower the mileage (25k miles or less) or more recent the rebuild the better off you ll be.
Midnight purple is such an awesome colour. Its low key but under the right conditions it just pops! That's the reason why my S14 is also that colour :)
Matts mindset is absolutely spot on. He is the absolute true definition of a rotary enthusiast. He just gets it. You bleed, sweat, swear and cry for these cars but in that moment you are behind the wheel it doesn't matter any more. It's your rx7 and it's a living extension of you. Our cars and mindsets are literally identical.
You guys NEED to make more videos. I discovered this channel yesterday, and I was so bummed to find only a few vids. The quality of your videos so awesome. I loved the intro to the Subie video, that was so rad and inspiring. More please!
Great video. Keep them coming! The FD'S are an amazing machine! Always have been, always will be. Yours is a perfect example of what they are. It's great to see that you actually use it for what it's for and that it's not just for car shows. Great job!
SE guys, great work. The story, sound and film come together very well in this. Please keep up with this quality product you are putting out, your passion shows.
Awesome video and awesome car/owner combo. You can tell he really cares for his car. Love seeing these videos. No matter the make or model, you can tell these people really have a passion for their rides.
Excelnt video on owning an RX7 FD on my second lump and at 540bhp at the wheels what can I say. My friend has a Lambo and he spends 3Gs on a gear box rebuild every other service, so i know the cost of the power i get is cheap. Well done and keep it up!
i sold mine.dumb but like a fine wine u sound like u really appreciate this stunning car.better looking than a ferrari or porche or lambo man very well made video.nice thanx for sharing.
awesome man inspires me not to sell my FD. as i still love driving the car after 16 years of ownership but now i just have no time. minor electronic issues hamper my enthusiasm about my car. worst of all the lack of rotary mechanics near my area.
I feel the same way about my stupid Mazda. Damn thing is so finicky. Something is always breaking, but 13 years later I still have it even after wanting to sell it so many times. All the quirks just give it character and is what makes you love the car so much.
saw this car in real life when Matt decided to put it up for sale... very pretty and puts hard... idk where it is now, would love to find out who's the lucky buyer.
This FD3S actually reminds me of either 2 things RE Amemiya and a RX7 from Tokyo Xtreme Racer Zero either from a Wanderer called Late Night Cinderella ... but with that said Keep up the good work I wonder what camera you use for your film i love the whole dark filter effect looks really legit
I sold my first FD and just purchased my second one! I also live in BC, have you ever had any problems with your exhaust or body kit as far as VI's go?
Check out how bad the rotor looks @ 5:32. The apex seal groove looks chipped and rotor side has severe scuffing. If this engine is being build with rotors in that condition, its no wonder you are going through many engines.
I am proud this man actually takes the car to the track instead of turning it into another stanced FD.
I agree. Stance looks cool, but no functionality.

@@JustKyzuuh lol you sound dumb af lowering camber all that has advantages learn how gravity effects cars and such

One of the dislikes is the dude who lost the auction.
The sound of this rx7 is just awesome :-O Beautiful bodykit as well!
+Mc Terb brap brap brap brap
May I ask which company do u use to import the rx7, cuz I want to import one for myself in Vancouver too
Rx-7 owner here. Long live the Rotary!
EXTREME SCALE PERFORMANCE RC please tell me is it very expensive to keep the rx7?
Yeah buddy! Another fd owner here! 610bhp and braps like crazy! Rotors forever!!
Sahl Ebrahim yes it is. I own one. If its just been rebuilt or its very low mileage (25k or less) you might be ok. Fuel consumption is very high
MrDreamer60 also about the Engine i heard its not that reliable

Good upload and sexy track oriented FD. Way to take advantage of you're car's potential other than riding slow with negative camber....
Very nice RX7 FD tuner
tastefully done
