what is the difference between open award and excel? I was expecting a similar format section a and b but then realised it went on for ever without a break and my brain was not ready for this...

There is still a non-calculator section, worth 25% of the marks, and a calculator section, worth 75%. It's just less obvious in the printed out papers.

    Hi I have a question,
This Monday the (11th) I sat my functional skills paper 2 exam.
I was wondering if they will release the paper. Do they usually post the paper after ? (I want to see and check how I did but I’m not sure if they do release the exam paper after please let me know)
Also, do you know how many weeks I have to wait to receive the results?

With the exam board, I think the only paper they have released is the one here, but they may do in the future. Usually it can take around 4 weeks to get your results but do check with your college or wherever you took the exam.
      I hope you did well!

Why explaining it so nice and simply, and then explain it in a different ways, people with dyslexia will find hard 😢

I can see how that could be confusing. But different learners like different methods, so I try to give a bit of variety. Don't feel you have to understand every method, find 1 that you are comfortable with and stick with that. Once you've heard the explanation you like, you can skip to the next question if that works better for you.
