How fun! My favorite blend right now is Frankincense, Geranium, Copaíba and Rose. Love the smell and benefits! It brings be such a sense of peace and well being, and it’s good for pain too.
Thanks for sharing! I recently have been on a kick to replacing all of my products, including perfumes to more natural and chemical free products. Can’t wait to try this!
Love the idea! Would any kind of coconut oil work? What I have becomes more of a solid during the colder months even inside my home, so I’m not sure it would work in the roller bottle…
hi ! i’m just now getting into essential oils in college since i’m trying to change my style and signature scent . i ordered the p and j marshmallow fragrance oil , do you think i would be able to just add a couple of drops to my eos vanilla lotion and it should still be skin safe ? if not , what would you recommend i do i wanted to add them to my lotions
Hey! I might be a bit late to reply to your video but can you tell me whether you can smell the coconut oil that you used for the base when putting on the perfume. The main reason I want to switch to homemade perfumes is that I've never found a long-lasting one. Do these ones stay on for longer?
to answer your question, no the fractionated coconut oil does not have an aroma. you could try making perfume with perfumer's alcohol! I show how to do it in this video ua-cam.com/video/WwauIVoczNs/v-deo.htmlsi=8v3rLxmR8BlampCb
I haven't tried that blend specifically. Try it out! The first note you pick up is the top note, the one that lasts the longest is the base, etc. Let me know if you try it, it sounds great
Thank you for this video, i’m trying to make my own natural based perfumes but i couldn’t understand the ratio between essential oil and carrier oil. Is there like a golden ratio? (I’m only asking for a singular perfume, not a blend)
for this you should stick around the 5% dilution rate, you can do anywhere around there tho. and for a 10ml roller bottle that would be 15 drops off essential oil then filled to the top with carrier oil. hope this helps.
Could you help me make Kuumba Oriental Musk. Their webpage says they use mimosa oil and ylang ylang. I ordered them and mixed them and it smells nothing like their oriental musk. Not Egyptian musk, oriental musk.
the timber EO from SE my hubby hates, what else could be manly but dont smell like that EO? making him a soap with SE ew launch products but he refuses that blend so now im like hmmmmm
I dilute every essential oil with ethanol, i have 20% for top notes and the rest i have them at 10% and some like vetiver at 1%. Why dont we dilute in carrier oil too? Thanks

You are so welcome! Good luck with everything
Wow thank you, Torey. I had no idea that so many scents were available in essential oils!
Oh, that a awesome idea to mimic your old favorite perfume
Love doing this!
So fun! I can’t wait to try some of these!
awesome! thanks for watching!
Replacing perfumes is very important
Yessss
Oh yeah, game changer for me

It wouldn’t work in a roller bottle, but you could definitely make a solid perfume. Just put it in a jar instead!
That’s a good idea, thanks!
Este Britt, you could try the liquid kind or try using almond oil instead, which is pretty cheap to by

I’m not sure how to dilute fragrance oils, I only use essential oil
Thank you for this! 🙌🩷
Thanks for watching!

I have to try this! I think I’m going to do one with bergamot and one with blood orange.clary sage do smell really good on it’s own.
Yumm! Let me know how it goes
Can i use lavender rose and vanilla and citrus ? Which one will go as top note undernote and middle note ?
I haven't tried that blend specifically. Try it out! The first note you pick up is the top note, the one that lasts the longest is the base, etc. Let me know if you try it, it sounds great
My favorite carrier oil is jojoba
That’s the one I use most after coconut
is it necessary to first add bottom notes then heart notes then top notes...or we can add as per our requirements?
in my experience it doesn't matter. as long as your mixing the essential oils together well.
Can I use fragrance oil instead of essential oil for this?
Yea for sure! I haven’t tried it but I’m sure it would work the same
These carrier oils have a scent themselves, dont they? Wont they mess with your blend?
no they do not have aromas of their own
@@toreynoora is there an essential oil with a coconut scent?
What’s the best essential oil brands which have little to no metals added that you have found ?

@@toreynoora thank you so much and your videos are great
But where can we buy the oils cheap?
My favorites are in the description. Revive and simply earth are really affordable

I have no idea, sorry. I have not used or heard of that brand.
the timber EO from SE my hubby hates, what else could be manly but dont smell like that EO? making him a soap with SE ew launch products but he refuses that blend so now im like hmmmmm
You could just try a simple blend of like pine and orange and see if he likes that?
Thank you !

Also anyone using E.O and alcohol please send me message to make a discussion about it thanks
Do I need to add alcohol?
