FIXED! Hyundai Sonata 2016 cruise control up switch broken (switch flopping around)

If you have a Hyundai vehicle with a similar cruise control module and one way is a tight feel but the opposite control doesn't feel "springy", this may be the culprit. Quick and free fix (if you have a knife and super glue). Thanks so much for this. I'm gonna attempt this with super glue. Same thing just happened to my volume up button. Pause and volume down still work but it's loose kind of when you push up and nothing happens. Could you possibly explain how to go about this. I'm sure the dealer would charge a ridiculous amount for something dumb

I have a2021 and having a hard time taking the initial panel off how do I do that? Thanks for any feed back

Mine just popped off after I got a knife blade under the side, but best to check with a mechanic for your specific vehicle.
