bought the same saw last summer and have used it alot, they always need to be tuned out of the box once you break it in a little bit and tune it itll have alot more power
@@LudasGarage That is true, but it is new tech oil, not old tech oil, from what I understand if correct. As such something that says mix at 40 to one is safe to run at 40 to one. Some who aren't comfortable with that will run 32:1. The problem with running such a rich mixture (oil wise) is supposedly excess carbon which can damage the saw in all sorts of ways, catastrophically at that. Due diligence recommended.
@LudasGarage how is the Holzfforma G070 performing since you bought it Any challenges so far? I purchased the same machine and it's in transit. Can't wait

I've did some more tuning on it, about each time I take it out. Did you up the ratio on mixed gas or still 25:1?
@@LudasGarage hey I usually mix mine around 30 to 1 now that it's broken in
I actually ran it 30 to 1 the whole time I just learned it out a little bit after it was broken in
@@shotgunsmurf5740 I figured I would just leave it heavy on the oil, after all that saw is based on older technology

Well, I'm on my 3rd clutch, finally spent the money and got stihl brand parts. Other than the clutch just do a nut and bolt check on it.
Thank you, i will update once i get it running
@@dedasimon3242 Sounds good! Its a powerhouse of a saw
YOU HAVE TO PUMP MORE OIL TO THE BAR,OTHERWHISE YOU WILL SEIZE THE BAR AND CHAIN.
No wedges???
@@Super-Bike-Joe No, I wanted to make all my cuts and bump it over with the tractor.
Ppz setting your caburator
1st time out using it, I left it rich
Can’t hear a thing. Too low on sound. Saw needs more heat cycles.
This machine have NO POWER
Its ran better than this video for sure. Its pretty rich on oil and fuel for break-in.
