Outstanding video and gets rid of a lot of they misinformation about AS3X out there right now. Also some really cool tips. Finally someone that names AUX2 or AUX4 to something with meaning. For priority, you're right that 140 is a good default. If you fly with a lot of expo then you might want to raise that up a bit more, particularly on 3D planes. I've been setting stop lock to 100 and adjusting my AS3X gain until I stop seeing jitter. I hadn't thought about FM based adjustments. Might have to give that a try.
I’m new to edf and have always purchased E-flight models that have safe setup easy. I also have the ix14+… I set up the fms raptor and am having an issue with all my models that the rudder doesn’t self adjust when on safe mode.Any ideas what it could be? I followed your other video step by step but can’t seem to figure out what’s going on with the rudder not adjusting like my ailerons or elevators
@@rickgallardo6907 SAFE is only for roll and pitch. On airplanes, you generally don’t want heading hold on the yaw axis. SAFE is similar to heading hold. Open the throttle above 25% momentarily and AS3X should activate on all three axes.
Thanks, Great Video, learned a lot
That tip for the trimmer voice callout is very useful. Thanks

How do you setup and operate the Nosewheel
I haven’t tried it yet. Google “Spektrum AS3X+ Wiki”..
