This was my first crochet project ever and I learned so much throughout the process. Also, the end result left me feeling so accomplished and satisfied. I can't wait for my next project.
this was my second project, my first was the cat ear beanie, I failed a lot with the cap, but now with the ru bag I got it right and I loved it

Im from India. I tried crochet last year but had an autoimmune incident which was eye related. It was painful and scary so i stopped crochet. Im okay now but the whole thing was scary so i got some professional help for my anxiety as i was scared to try crochet again as i had initially thought my eyes were strained because of crocheting and felt anxious about the whole thing happening again. Im okay now so im back to trying something haha.
Im actually learning japanese and planning on giving the jlpt. But this is mostly a hobby. I dont have intentions of migrating to japan. But i wanna go as a tourist.

i also started out w crochet before learning to knit n wld rly recommend looking up continental knitting if you haven't! the movements are a lot easier to understand as a crocheter but ofc learning sth new is always a little insane..

When she said 175 rows I almost died. The front panel (with breaks) took me 2 and a half hours😭 (I'm a noob)

so for the strap part, you make a chain of 7 and then hdc from 3rd chain and then make another chain of 7?? could someone please help me

ahh thank u for this tutorial! but can i ask is it compulsory to have ch35 + 1? or could it be made bigger e.g. ch50 + 1? must the total ch (including the +1) be an even number?
you can definitely chain more to make the bag bigger! the number doesn’t matter:)

okay i made the bag but is there a way to make it more sturdy??? when i wear it with stuff inside it tends to fold in on itself from the weight, i did use a bigger yarn to make it tho!
i heard lining the bag with fabric helps!

Idk if you still need an answer to this but you totally could. You'd just end up with a bigger bag if you follow the pattern to a t.

i have a question,
when im doing the front and back panels, the rectangle shape is becoming a trapezoid sorta..and it's not symmetrical at all and I restarted but I wanted to ask if you know what I'm doing wrong.
I basically do the chain, then chain one, and then start on the third hook, finish the row, then chain one, then start from the third hook, and then finish the row, and repeat that for all the rows.
After i finished each row i did chain 3 but it turns out as a square ☠️
@@cmrskz i did that but it kept turning out like uneven. it wasnt even a shape 💀
but i just did hdc in each chain starting from the first chain for every row even the first one. it became a rectangle 😊

Maybe if you line it, but then you'll need to line the straps too or else they'll stretch a lot!
