Hi everyone! Have you used clothworks for anything in SketchUp? Let me know about it in the comments below!
Ok, tutorial is good but have you tried to render it? Vray messes up the cloth texture even tho it looks ok in Sketchup. I think you should've showed us how you render it after that. I have a problem when I see it just perfect in Sketchup but then Vray messes up again the texture. However Thea or Twilight renders the cloth texture in a perfect line so maybe Vray is messing up something?
So awesome. First time I’ve seen this extension, really happy I did! Thanks for sharing. If I wanted to create a leather shade for a pendant light, would you recommend this plug in??! Here’s the light for reference: stahlandband.com/collections/series-01-small-pendant/ thank you!
@@justwowtv4998 oh ya I’d like to see it rendered too!
😍😍😍 I have to try this!
Thank you so much! You're making my life as an architecture student so much easier. You have no idea!
Amazing!!!!
thank you very much, you are the best
thank you
Thanks
Nice tutor ^_^
nice tutorial
Nice sir love from India
Thank😊
Nice! 👍
👍
Great video as always. If you wanted to 3d print this object with the cloth can you ad a thickness to the cloth using push/pull either before or after the drape?
You could try with the Joint Push Pull extension after, but it could be very messy - I seriously doubt you'd be able to get a correct solid out of it
Thanks!
No problem!
I need to model a peel-and-stick membrane underlayment over a plywood roof deck. That might do it. I would need to model the thickness of the membrane however. hmmm?
How is it rendered in vray? it is a 2 dimension object
Is that gizmo functionality available for paid users only ?
Nice class,,but one doubt how to move the pin, please tell me any short key,im tap to move key (M) but not moving the pin
My request is for doing an upholstered headboard that is curved internally (like hugging the mattress). I am going to use these tips but because my cloth will need a seam across the top of the headboard I am not sure it will work. Thanks for all the help!

Is there a way to make this into a parachute?
You can add wind. Fix the points of your parachute and let the wind blow in the Y direction (upwards). Successes. ua-cam.com/video/BC2xiKJkDTc/v-deo.html
can u cloth on stl to have a new object? my stl isn´t solid now. i hope with my bought clothworks i can take this game
I don't fully understand the question, but I don't think it needs solids to do the simulation
Is there an option to get this plugin as a free trial or something? i'll only be using it once so paying 24$ is too much!
Well there's a free version with limited features. No trial that I'm aware of
@@Thesketchupessentials Yeah, i installed it, but it doesn't allow the drapping of the cloth so basically useles!!! And i have no idea how to make my sofa look like it has a cover without the pluggin
You mention using the "paid version"... did you mean the paid version of Sketchup (pro)? Or the paid version of Clothworks?... or both?
why my pin arrow didn't showed up?
You probably don't have the paid version
