Yeah, it was many years ago and I still use,’probably 7, but I’m sure some electric things get cheap on clearance. I figured online is cheaper because there is a broader selection. Just keep an eye on their clearance. I got it right after Christmas when there is a huge sale on everything. Mine is by Bella. I also got an electrical oven by Bella that is still in use and works great, also for like $20 on Macy’s clearance

I've seen a few Thai restaurants that even serve Pad Thai two ways...the ketchupy one being referred to as red/country-style (the non-ketchup one being brown-style if they call the other red), I think. I don't know anyone (even Thai friends) who prefer the ketchupy one.

Try the kettle. I use it a lot to boil my water then let it cool and put it in a jar a cool it. I dont buy water cheap and reasonable.

Water boiler is a thing. You fill the pot with water and plug it in, it's super handy! Especially if you're a college student/busy adult :)
