I actually really like the concept, Shoto runs from his fire which caused him so much agony and trauma whereas Touya/Dabi who is also caused by agony and trauma by it runs towards it. The same thing could be somewhat applied to the endeavour arc. Expect Shoto has now that he's improved starting to forgive whereas Dabi/Touya won't even though in the past he wanted this.
