I would really like a comparison video between the Tangzu Wu Heyday and Aful Performer 5
Yes! Up
Lol. I was really into fragrances for like two years after college. Loved your Imagine Scent channel:) crazy how two years later I’m getting into IEM and audio. Super cool hearing you shoutout the flanker haha.
Hoping the Truthear hola review comes soon!
The $20 market is insane
Good morning from Toronto.☕️
The flood of IEM’s this year was insane.
Hopefully, ‘23 is a tad saner 😵💫
Take care 😋
Recently got the original s12’s and I have been loving them. They are kinda bright, which I have been enjoying and super fun to listen to.
I'm relieved that I ordered the Wan'er now, fully trust your opinion.
Very nice the review and the graphs Timmy..You are my favourite reviewer.Smily short and substantial!👍
Thank you!
Keen to hear your review on the Hisenior Mega5p and Penon Serial
The fragrance reference was amazing
Thanks timmy i almost check out the Kiwiears Cadenza was so hyped, i know its a good set also but interms of Cost to performance Tangzu Wan'er will be the winner
You couldn’t be be wrong about the Oracle MK2!
Love your videos as always though ♥️
Your opinion on the Symphonium Meteor would be interesting. If you ever get your hands on one. And of course the Truthear Hola 😎 Happy new Year by the way. 100k Subs in 2023 lets go!
Thank you! Hola is ordered.
Seems like instead of going clubbing and trying his fragrances, Timmy is now holed up at home trying his iems 😁😁😁
Please, what's the name of his fragrance channel?
@@tiagorods. Imagine Scent
Thank you!
Kind of wild how much overlap there is in the fragrance world and IEM world
I’m own the sennheiser ie300 and am considering getting the ie600,
Anything you would recommend me to get instead in this price range?
I like a super kicky base and I love airiness in the treble. Vocals should be forward.
hi Timmy if you only can choose one between s12, z12 or s12 pro, what would you pick?
Hey giz was wondering what dac amp do u use (for iems) if u do use any and what stack/dacamp all in one would u recommend
Hey Timmy, what cable do you recommend to replace the Wan'er cable? I bought the Cadenza but the right nozzle broke in 4 days, I asked for a refund with the balance on Amazon and would like to buy a better cable for the Wan'er. I agree they are better than the Cadenza's, I was trying hard to like them but after breaking the choice is clear.
Have u reviewed the heartmirror pro? Just wanted to know ur opinion on that set. Since u like the original so much.
How about TKZK Ouranos? Are you gonna review it? Based on your graph, it's the bassinet version of Cadenza. So is it better?
And I don't get it when you recommend Tin C2 but not with C3. In your first impression video, you seemed like the C3. Is it because the C2 has better detail and treble energy?
Timmy OCD question do in squid link your tanchjim hana v2 and the oxygen are identical however when I check the same graphs on super reviews and crin’s graphs the are not identical
I'm happy with my S12 Le Parfum over the EDP.
Hey it’s me again, i have a question and i think/hope it’s a good one,,, so ive been learning and getting into iems more, i read that est drivers are better than ba drivers for details,, now i noticed almost everyone sayimg that the mangird top(i just purchased) is extremely good and details are top notch,, now they have no est drivers, so are the ba drivers just that good or are they still inferior to est drivers?
Hey Timmy, could you please review the new Kinera Nanna with the Z-Reviews tuning?
S12 and olina with tanya filters are my favourite iems paired with xduoo L2B or 5k❤ with 4.4 termination 😎
@@Hijynx87 The OG olina with Tanya filters👍
Any recomended with best soundstage? Planar iem?
I ordered Timeless AE as soon as I found out they existed. The higher price doesn't makes sense just for mildly different tuning, but they did throw in a much better cable with thick wires and exchangeable terminals, 3.5mm unbalanced and 4.4mm and 2.5mm balanced. Also a nicer case. Not sure if that's worth the extra $, but I'm not complaining.
I just got mine. Very impressed. Nice.
The better overall package warrants the extra price for me I think, sometimes it's not about just the IEMs but also about what you get with it yknow!
Hey Timmy, are you planning on getting/reviewing the HBB Khan?
would like to see a review of the open audio witch pro
Will you review sennheiser ie 200??
Have you heard of a Chinese company called GS audio (on AliExpress), and what are your thoughts
how is mest mk2
After the Timeless, Timeless AE, Aful P8 even the Moondrop Variations, this S12 Pro is since today (received them today) one off my, even maybe my favorite.....
@Hijynx87 It's a funny coincidence. Last evening, I laid down all my favorite IEM's. Tested them back to back with my reference songs, just for fun, and came to the conclusion that my comment was maybe premature. The AE is better, less shouty than the S12 Pro, and more detailed.
They all got their plusses and minuses.
But eventually came to the conclusion that the Variations is the best overall. Maybe not as revealing in the high frequencies off the planars, but less exhausting, listening to higher levels for a longer time.
@Hijynx87 The Variations cost twice as much, but does it sound twice as much better... no. For example, the Aful Performer 5 is a lot cheaper than Performer 8, but I like the sound of the 5 more than the 8.
Soo I got the Oracle MK2, and I personally prefer them over the MK1's for instrumental and ambient tracks. I dont usually listen to vocal heavy music, so bringing the vocal range down with the rest of the instruments doesn't really effect me. The treble though I can understand. Some genres really like their treble peaks, and it can be a bit much. At least because it's so similar to the Oracle MK1, it sounds much more natural when EQ'd to the original.
I agree I listen to them with the Chord mojo 2! I think that paring sounds absolutely fantastic
What about Truthear Hola Vs Wan’er ?
HBB Khan is coming?
I watch almost every video that you post's since i joined your channel ... And i was impressed by letshoer s12 pro ... I was planning to get one for myself ... Now when i am barely 10 15 days away from ordering it i found out you like ZETAIN WU more .... So which one should i pick i have very limited budget that gose upto s12pro ... So which one is go from your prospective...
S12PRO or orignal Zetain Wu ....
Hbb edition is out of my budget
I didn't say I like Zetian Wu more....lol Zetian Wu is just better tuned for more listeners. I like S12 more because I like treble. But only get S12 if you like treble like I do.
Still waiting for the launch of the Gizaudio X Letshuoer collaboration😆any hints of the release date 🫣
Finally! Some love for Ola B~
I just bought the Timeless AE.... HiFi Go had them for $233.00. They are still in the mail. Should be here any day now. I have the original Timeless but the treble hurts my ears if I don't EQ it down a bit. I'm hoping the AEs will be more suited to my tastes.
this has been a little bit tamed down on the ae version, hope you'll enjoy yours as i do mine! :)
@@fidellu I can't wait to get them.
@@fidellu
I got them today (finally). Been listening. I had the MSEB set the same as the original Timeless and I didn't like the sound from these new ones at all. I was really disappointed. But.... But then I turned off the MSEB (EQ) and they popped. Excellent. The sound signature is about perfect to me. No need to EQ these things. Really enjoying these right now.
@@PleaseGoAllTheWay lol, have fun man! To my taste, i find some elements on Planar can sound a little bit harsh and zingy/ plasticky to the untamed ears at times, but the sheer resolution and separation between all the instruments and vocals beneath the music is just mesmerizing.
Dunu Kima vs. Wan'er vs. Cca cxs, which one is better?
I think Kimak is still better
What about CRA+ is it better than the original CRA?
With the new batch update, it turns out that CCA CRA OG's tonal sound has been updated to be smoother and calmer
The Ola Bass sounds like a good IEM for EQ testing, thoughts?
Yeah, Ola Bass is easy to EQ
Another great content Timmy, I missed your old fragrance channel, will you do a review of the SeeAudio Yume II and Mangrid Zenns Top, and have a great wonderful blessed positive productive and safe weekend
Thanks Ernest! I already reviewed those :)
Pls do Custom Art FIBAE 7
What about HBB hookX?
Never got those
I've tried 7Hz Timeless AE, loved the detail and rumble BUT! and its a big BUT. One channel would drop volume to almost nothing either because of condensation or when outside temperature changed drastically. Moondrop Arias exhibit the same issue. If you're gonna use any of those outside, or at work I would highly advise to stay away from those IEMs.
Also the new cable for AE is way to stiff!
Nice to see a fragrance freak here too, a fellow clone enjoyer?(cdnim?)
I have Aventus. One of the smokier 2015 batch. But CDIM is good too
@@Gizaudio the clone game is wild right now, lattafa and armaf are killing it.
Helios review when? 😆
Wait, you also do perfume reviews right?
Yea the channel is imagine scent
I miss JQ 4U Pro in this list.
Timmy, where is my Galileo? 😀
Lessgooo!
"Didn't Review" is kinda like 'Not Quite The News ' 😆
Lol pretty much
Strongly agree with the Cadenza vs. the Wan'er, just missing a little, but the Cadenza is a great cheap IEM. The Oracle MK2 is an interesting one, I think it sounds fantastic, very detailed, but for an IEM in its price range it should have MCCX connectors. I tried to do a cable swap and one of the two pins is still stuck in my IEM! Great video Timmy
-Dr. P
How can a $35 dollar single dd iem that spent less on the packaging and more on the driver by going beryllium coated and with the same Harman turning as every other cheap entry iem sound worse than a $20 version?
@@iamthe1234567890 Different ears have different tastes and different preferences. I prefer cadenza myself. Especially after changing the eartips to wide bore (Azla SednaEarfit Standard Short) and the cable to balance, the sound is much better.
@@thomasdanny7717 what is the difference between the narrow bore and the wider ones you replaced? Also the effect of the cables?
I'm considering either the Kiwi Ears Cadenza or the Tangzu Wangers for a gift. I can't just give them the Cadenzas and say, go buy some extra tips and a different cable.
@@iamthe1234567890 from my experience, the wide bore eartips provide wider staging, better instrument separation and airy treble extension. But of course the sealing and the material of the eartips themselves are also important. Balance cable provides better resolution. The small details of the song sound clearer, and the staging and layering are more defined.
I prefer the Cadenza slightly over my Wan'er as well. Slightly more detail, better instrument separation, more airy treble and a bit more bass extension. Differences are pretty subtle to my ears though.
The cable that comes with the Wan'er is really bad though. A new cable is almost a must, whereas the Cadenza cable is very decent.
You still buying fragrance bottles anymore?
Yes, only niche ones and only every now and then
The way how everyone tries to pronounce the Wu Ze Tian is making me laugh for quite a while.
AND Yet TruthEar HOLA is on doorstep
REVIEW it SOON
Me 🗿
7:50 hurts=hertz, get it!?!?!....
I miss Imagine Scents man!!
If only 7hz would have dropped the price of the original Timeless to like $170 and the AE came out at the original Timeless’s $220. Would have been more competitive
I'm looking to "exit" the hobby at around 500usd. I currently own the S12 (a quite detailed v shape) and I want a good all-rounder with a better midrange presentation. I listen to rock, jazz, bossa etc and occasionally edm/pop tunes. Not into j/k-pop so female vocals are not a priority. I liked the midrange on the titan s but it lacked some bass authority and detail for me. Nowadays it seems like the 500$ market has gone a little stale recently. Something with better techs than the s12 but not as engrossing bass would be ideal.
Any recs?
Man the timeless is such a weird IEM to me. Money certainly does disappear, I just can't get them to fit properly, no matter what I do, the sound is phenomenal for the money, I'd still buy the AE (wallet screams) but for some reason I just find them one of the most uncomfortable IEMs
-Dr. P
Yeah. They should have the made the stem a hair longer. I use the new Dunu barrel tips and they fit great. They seem to grip and seal more of the ear canal better than other tips.
Just buy s12pro, they are very comfortable
@@user-df3pz2xt4c I will add that to my wallet pain
A lot of people complain about the same issue so you're actually in the majority here. I didn't love the fit either
@@Gizaudio Well now I have S12 Pros so my wallet says it hates you, but i still love you
truthear hola now xd
it is clear that you did not listen to s12 pro .... because there is a difference, more bass, and less sharp high frequencies. In particular, vocals now sound more natural and why this is not an improvement. so do not talk nonsense that it is "that they are no better"
Truthear Hola?
Dude, kiwi is meant for V curve to not focus on Orchestra stage, classical, higher impedance, near Harman lower drop and better kick base. Wanher is more wide stage, very different to apple 🍎 analysis this. Chck out passion for sound detailing
Finally i got s12 pro $86
What's your verdict on the S12 pro experience so far ? Are they good, you know planar wise ?
Timeless AE better than zetian wu.... Just because.... I want bass.
Zetian Wu has a lot of bass too haha
Iems are about how well they fit the rest is inconsequential
I get everyone ears are different but your statements about the Oracle 2 are some of the furthest from the truth as I have ever seen on your channel. Nobody but you has ever said this about the Oracle 2. I have it and it’s absolutely the best treble extension placed in a thieaudio IEM. NYMZ gave a S RATING …Zeos said it was a top five IEM on the market today and loved the treble. Not sure why your results are so far off from everyone but no bra. The Oracle MK2 is beast and better than the Oracle 1 in every way.
Irritating. So much talking without saying anything at all!
will the s12 pro nothing diffrence between it and seeuadio yume i hear nothing only maybe lil bit bass wtf i waste my money for nothing
