- Max Verstappen gets his replacement trophy from the Hungarian Grand Prix which was broken by his friend Lando Norris during the podium celebration.

It's either Max's or Landos' house, I'd ashume.
I mean after he smashed it he said it was Max' problem, not his. Lando is, IMO, the most unlikeable driver on the grid. Extremely arrogant when not having won a single race. He is a really fantastic driver, make no mistake, and he will win plenty of races, but as a person, in my eyes, he's an ass.
@@Arsenic71 Nah, not sure if he`ll ever win a race in F1.... the grid is just too high level. Not with Alonso in his team.
He needs another sheit driver, like Latifi, Mazepin, something like that, then Stroll can be the better one in the team. And all hell has to have broken loose in a race for him to win.

Chances are they make an extra one. If it's ceramic it wouldn't be expensive. The money and time is in the engraving and all of that. I would imagine they would need extra in the event that A. Lando break one and B. if while making one it breaks, or they mess it up they don't have to wait on new one to be made. But I don't know I'm just guessing
They have already explained that the time it took was for a large part in the design process, with a design already in hand it saved many weeks.

I laughed really hard when after the qualifying Max was asked if he will protect the trophy if Lando finish in the podium and his answer was:
- I need to return the trophy to the team anyway so he can do whatever he wants
That trophy needs a restraining order against Lando.

lol!. Good stuff. From now on if Lando takes the podium, swap out the real trophys for 3d printed. Actually I was thinking about this just when it happened and wondered why a replica wasn't used because driver jump around spraying bubbly and it's a wonder it hasn't happened more often to the trophys. then afterwards, the real trophys for the trip home. Lando and Max would be the Ultimate F1 power team if they were ever paired.

In The Netherlands we use the word ‘spuuglelijk’ for this kind of trophy.

'free' exposure for the trophy maker. what happens with the broken one? could be worth a lot of money in the future
The manufacturer usually asks for it back (however, doesn't always actually gets it back). They say that it becomes worthless... Also they need it for making the replica exactly like the original (they have the plans, however, it helps them with, for example, color matching.

Thats cause both driver young and have no clue about hard work labor so they not understood the months of work with this thropy . Lando rich dad never put him to work 1 week 8 hours so he is careless about others work , ppl ofc upset when see young daddy's money kid broke something and doesnt ever care

It falls under "personal responsibility" and any good insurance policy has that anyway 🙂
@@samwlloyd Ah, OK in the Netherlands it is a separate insurance. Dirt cheap, I think maybe 3 Euro per year per person. But it took my son years to find the time to buy it. In those years he did at least 300 Euro worth of damage. So I laughed at him and said it was 100 years of premium... haha
