How To Set-Up A Folding Power Wheelchair

Learn how to assemble the Power Wheelchair by Vive Mobility. Follow these steps to set-up the electric power wheelchair on your own:
Step 1:
To unfold the wheelchair, place one hand on the frame at the front of the seat and the other hand on the top of the backrest to pull the two halves apart.
Step 2:
Push the lock lever on the back of the frame to lock the chair in the unfolded position.
Step 3:
Lift the tension lever on the controller to loosen the clamp, slide the controller over the curved end of the armrest & tighten it in place. The controller can be placed on either armrest.
Step 4:
To keep the cable out of the way, fit it into the cable clip located behind the armrest.
Step 5:
To connect the battery, cut the zip-tie & slide the battery pack into the battery holder until it locks into place.
Step 6:
Adjust the level of the armrests using the tension lever beneath the armrest pad. Lift the lever, slide it into a different & push the lever back down to lock it in place.
Step 7:
Use the velcro strips to attach the seat cushion, making sure that the seat belt is not in the way.
Step 8:
Adjust the height of the seat by loosening the screw knobs located beneath each armrest. Lift or lower the armrest to the desired height & re-tighten the screw knobs.
Step 9:
Switch the drive levers located behind each rear wheel from manual mode to drive mode.
