1000%, I am on official pve server and sorry to say, asian clan took majority of the cars within 48 hours of wipe day, locked away in base for no reason I can think off, not even selling them
Generally good tips, but value per slot (per block) only matters if you playing solo and if you playing on foot. When you have vehicle, you generally run out of loot before you run out of space. Not to mention you can also put boxes into vehicle. So what becomes more important is "risk/reward"... where can you go to most consistently get most money, with least risk/effort. Powerplant would not be the place I would go to... unless I want to craft CRAP ammo and farm fame. Selling vehicles, isn't as broken as you say (I guess I just don't agree that they are as broken), reason - 99% of vehicles have no engines in them, that is right away makes huge difference. Nowadays... if I find the vehicle without engine... I only take out lights and push the shell into the water (it respawns shortly, rinse and repeat)... time that it takes to find 4 wheels (with 1 caveat) and push it across the map is simply not worth it, for something like $15k. The prices you have shown are for complete vehicle and engine and also I play hardcore so they even lower - Niva is like $12k, Golf maybe $15k and Ranger ~19-20k. I don't know - maybe in standard official is better, but on hardcore it doesn't work. If you ever find the vehicle that has engine, then it is likely player vehicle that has exploded or despawned, they usually also more complete, only extremely rarely (as I said 1%) the vehicles spawn with the engine in them. Now there is one thing (the caveat), which I believe is consistently better than anything you mentioned here... it is almost exploit... Ranger wheels from scrapyard... each costs ~$1500 (depending on economy $1400-1900) and I often find 15-20 of them in scrap yard. I think you can only fit like 12 in the ranger, but with boxes and additional storage they usually fit... it is a little bit of lottery, because one can find maybe 50 wheels in the piles, but they are for everything, bikes, bicycles other cars, but only ranger ones are worth it. Then you repair them on ranger with car tools (so you must have at least ranger shell). This is 100% safe and contently repeatable infinite money glitch. That is 30k per trip and by the time you fixed them and came back, they respawn again. Let's say on average I get closer to 20k per trip, but that is 20k every ~20-30 minutes and you need 0 skill for that. No explosive zombies, no pick locking, no dealing with radiation. Is it good game mechanic or fun... not really, kind of grindy. So I guess in summary - your point about checking what worth money is 100% correct. Apart of that - step 1, get a car and just vacuum the loot from the map. Value of items only becomes relevant when looting on foot. And perhaps there are few items that are definitely worthless... like binoculars... but otherwise just fill the car with trash and sell it, still going to make 20-30k regardless what you take... except those few rare worthless items (like gas canisters).
I see your point but anyone can do my steps with 5000 bucks and a few crowbars. For your "exploit" they need 350 Fame. So they can't get into any PVP or have any fun untill then otherwise they lose 50 % of their fame. They need 54 000 bucks to buy the Rager and hopefully it doesn't get stolen or blown up on a full server and then they have to be stuck in a loot animation at the Scrapyard where any avg. Sniper can kill them every 30 mins. Scrapyard gets way more traffic than the Power Plant. You have a point but for the majority of players my method is more fun and you don't have to worry about fame.
@@Luthais yes... I guess it depends what server you on, how much pop it has etc. On hardcore servers it is often quite quiet, or if you not playing alone you can "secure perimeter". Also I play on servers where cars spawn (that is default for the game, even if they are disabled on your servers), so usually I have car before I have 350 fame... and I at least find a shell of ranger (if that is not the first car I build).
Seeing you behind the bank counter brings back a memory. I clipped through the counter once while running into the bank and couldn't get back out 😂 Luckily, a friendly ND player moved my car out of the green zone so i could wait until an admin could help. 😂😂
Luth, if you delivered this content at a speed that kids half our age could actually watch, you would win the devs over. RK is always saying “I’m not gonna be negative or make this go on forever…” I hate that jab, and still appreciate every single detail I’ve learned from your channel. Then again I’m GenX. So… for whatever 2 cents is worth these days.
RK is a dev simp. Does he know the game, absolutely, is he simpimg for likes, absolutely, which makes me know better then to take what he says seriously.
I can give less jabs thats on me. I will never make any decisions for views not be myself. 90 % of channels want to be Mr. Beast or make money. I just want to help people and be the best version of myself I can be. Thank you for your insight.
For me it is unreal to go to abandoned bunkers or Chernobyl, so I just collect medicals and weapons to sell. And I play the game from the start, I just was not able to learn to lockpick in 3 seconds... so I was never even in the killbox.
The B1 hospital is the best way to make money. You can get about 10k to 18k per run. I did 3 runs there today and got a yellow screwdriver the each time. The pills are worth allot of money.
not sure calculation per slot/block its the best as in SCUM you how plenty(practically unlimited) space in eq - in diff games matters e.g. Tarkov as its session based in SCUM I always looked at the how efficient(time and/or risk) you are making money
Yeah - risk/reward is more important in scum. I rather go pick-up 12 Ranger wheels from scrap yard every 20 minutes and get 30k for them, than I go to powerplant and get maybe 100k one a day... if I can lock-pick all the locks. I can more consistently make more money in less risky ways. Also price per slot (like in EFT) does not matter so much in SCUM, because once you have vehicles you sooner run out of loot, than the space to store it in.
Yea you guys arent taking all server pops into consideration. On a full server these methods will backfire if you don't have a competitive PVP focused clan. You will just be collecting loot for the stronger clans.
I have almost 2000 hours in scum and still learn something new from you thank you
What's your discord name bro got a squad of brother's
I'm glad I can still help.
Another way to counter the large groups building up and selling vehicles is to prevent the sale of vehicles
Thank you for highlighting the vehicles problem! 💯
No problem 👍
I tend to get Bushman knives, rebar cutters and drills,to start off with and rager lights too
Not a bad at all.

C2 bunker or prison is the most efficient. Trader right there and prison takes 10 minutes while bunker takes 15-20. Less if you are capable
In low pop server. High pop expect gun fights/campers@@INFJ-ThaneTr

how's situation in official server's with hackers? quit the game 7-8 months ago because of hackers.
Still bad
Pens arnt bad either for small time gains amd early selling
simple fix make vehicles unsellable. and have rules like on your servers and not have more than 2 vehicles per flag
Yes but im talking about the base experience before admins change it
So make vehicles not sellable to npc trader then? Easy fix.
Not so easy but for the devs yes it would be very easy
can we get a power plant walk through?
You will in the guide series yes.
Losing half your fame when you die ruins it man. You have all this money but you have to avoid fights just to keep fame on vanilla smh
