I feel like they slapped the Heritage Cup onto Tony D’Angelo because they just don’t know what to do with him and are waiting for main roster to take him. His character is not World or even Midcard material, and he has already done everything else in NXT. He’s also the last major name still in NXT since the rebrand from Black and Gold to 2.0
Ethan Page managed to capture NXT's biggest belt about 1 month and a bit from his debut, beating Kevin owens who did it in 2 months from his Debut.
