A legal notice is filed as per Section 80 of Code of Civil Procedure, 1908 and is only filed in civil cases.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Pursuant to the instructions from and on behalf of my client ___________________, through its _____________, I do hereby serve you with the following Legal Notice: -
1- That my client is a ___________ individual/company, under the name and of M/s ______________________.
2- That my client is employed/engaged in the business of _________ of the __ etc.
3- That against your valid and confirmed order, my client did your job work from time to time on credit basis as you have running credit account in the account books of my client operated in due course of business.
4- That my client-raised bills of each and every work performed for payment, although you have acknowledged the receipt of such bills raised by my client.
5- That inspite of acknowledging the liability of payment of principal balance of Rs. _________/- you have been failed to make payment of the said amount due to my client. Therefore/Henceforth/Now , you are liable to pay the said principal balance amount of Rs. __________/- along with interest @ __% p.a. from the date of due till actual realisation of the said sum as is generally and customarily prevailing in the trade usages, which comes to Rs. __________/-
6- That thus, you are liable to pay the said total amount of Rs. _______/- to my above-named client. My above-named client ______________ is entitled to recover the same from you.
7- That my client requested you several times through email, telephonic message and by sending personal messenger to your office for release of the above mentioned outstanding payment. Unfortunately, you have always been dilly delaying the same on one pretext or the other and so far have not paid even a single rupee out of the said outstanding amount.
I, therefore, through this Notice finally call upon you to pay to my client Rs. __________/-. along with future interest @ __ % p.a. from the date of notice till actual realization of the said amount, together with notice fee of Rs. ____/- to my client either in cash or by demand draft or Cheque whichever mode suits you better, within clear 30 days from the date of receipt of this notice, failing which my client has given me clear instructions to file civil as well as criminal lawsuit for recovery and other Miscellaneous proceedings against you in the competent court of law and in that event you shall be fully responsible for the same.
A copy of this Notice has been preserved in my office for record and future course of action.

In this video they have given us a detailed information on how to draft a legal notice which a law student must know which will be helpful in their future and in their internship as well. It covers all the main points and also showing documents & examples. This is the only video which I saw that cover legal notice in under 8 minutes only.
Legal Notice is the basic step that every law student who aspires to work in court law should know. Practical aspect of Law is not taught in many law colleges which is indeed a drawback as law students suffer during their internships. This is a great initiative taken by sir to spread the topics which are normally not covered in law colleges.
I found this video insightful and can guarantee that this is the only video out there that covers Legal Notice in under 8 minutes elaborately. The drafting part has also been covered in brief in very simple language that both native English and Hindi speakers would be able to understand the video. Much appreciate effort from Legalvise.

A legal notice is also a key, to file a case in the courts. It is compulsory to send a Legal Notice upon to the receiver.

Sending a legal notice is a very crucial part of litigation. It does not whether it is a family issue or property matter or partnership matter or any other matter it all starts with sending the legal notice and communicate the other party about your disagreements, grievances, and the intention to start a legal proceeding.
The video is very important for everyone, be it a law student or a fresh litigator or even an experienced lawyer because it has summed up the all the important points that one should keep in mind while drafting a legal notice. It is true that whenever a law student goes to a litigation internship, the first thing he is asked is to draft a legal notice for a matter in hand. And his performance is evaluated based on his drafting skills.
It is a well-established fact that strong legal drafting is very important for every litigator and law student to get a highly paid job. Drafting of a legal document is very crucial to make a strong case in our side. For instance, if the notice in a civil suit is poorly drafted then the other party can take advantage to divert the case and can use it against the party himself who sent it.
No matter how well you have drafted the notice but it is of no use if the notice is not delivered to the intended recipient. The narrator has discussed various effective ways by which a legal notice can be sent to the other party.
Moreover, one thing that I really felt missing in the video, which is very important in present lockdown context, that there are some other convenient methods of sending a legal notice. In SBI and Payment Service Pvt. Ltd. the Bombay HC held that a legal notice can be sent as a PDF file on WhatsApp because the blue tick confirms that the notice is received. Secondly, in the first week of July 2020, the Apex Court passed an order that says that sending notices and summons can be done through Email, WhatsApp and Telegram, etc.
Apart from that, the video is very informative, and a must-watch video for every law student and litigator.
Lastly one suggestion: Mediation and the similar mechanisms are really an effective alternative to formal adjudication system, where the parties can settle the dispute amicably and even save a great amount of time and money. Hence, we should make a video on this subject and discuss the scope of mediation under various disputes like as consumer disputes or other petty disputes.

Legal Notices are very important in enforcement of one's rights that a have been violated by another party. This is very informative.
