As a family of four our lads were 25/23yo at the time we spent 6 weeks in Australia March/April 2017 covering from QLD to S/A and a couple of days on F/I a truly amazing place and as for Lake Mc you simply won't believe it until you see it. It really is as simple as that,one of the best things about F/I and we have seen this in NZ is not only clean and green but the genuine lack of litter/rubbish thats so common here in the UK which just adds to the pleasure of visiting maybe i am wrong but you sort of feel genuine respect for the island and yes tourism can do damage but because of its outstanding beauty i would like to think people treat the island with a bit of TLC.
I randomly just thought of this place and turned to my wife and said remember this lake and the Island. We were there in 2007, probably too young to fully appreciate it. Searched it and this is the first video I came across. Captured beautifully, thankyou for sharing. 🥰

I did a Fraser island tour and it was AMAZING! we saw a puppy dingo and got to swim in lake Mackenzie
