we are all here to see if they would work as bretonnians, right?

yeah, that is my interest. I did a review of them too with some other new fireforge kit. The albion knights are a bit small but a lot of the smallness is in the horse rather than the rider. So one potential solution for making them work is to swap out the horse bigger one. Another idea I had was to use them as knights errant and just say they are teenagers or something.

@@SolarCrossGames If they're the whole army, then they'll look fine I would think.

@@nraketh Maybe, but would you make a whole army out of one kit?
If you are using them as bretonnians you will probably want some GW or heroic scale equivalents in there too.

@@SolarCrossGames for peasants you got plenty of 28 mm models that fit the scale, so you can make a complete army more or less without things looking out of place

how do the heads match up to bretonnian knight heads? I'm looking to kitbash some stormcast for AoS and I know that the bretonnian heads fit but I'm hesitant to get these without knowing they also fit.

Cant tell you how they fit since all of my old bretonnians still retain their brain buckets. However looking at the two side by side, I don see much difference.

The horse tails are plain wrong. Caparisons went over the tail. Later ones could have a hole drawn tight below the tail bone but the idea is that when the horse lifts its tail, the caparison lifts.
Think for a minute: what happens when the horse sh*ts? The way Fireforge have done this, it's going to get very messy back there.
Google for mediaeval images: you won't find the hole arrangement given on these models.

Are Fireforge models hero scale or do they lean more towards realistic (I don't remember the proper term)?

the albion knights do lean towards realistic but the newer Forgotten World kits which are coming out soon are completely compatible with GW's heroic scale.

These are nice minis, but if you're using 25-28mm stuff they are on the small side. Horses look like ponies. Nice models though!

the total disappointment is that these are (exept some details) the same ones as the knights templars and teutonic knights (same bodies, same weapons, same horses). i think fireforge could have done it better, more different. so,its not that sophisticated and if you consider the price (in my country fireforge is pretty expensive in my opinion) then i would think twice now to buy some other knights. very sad.
