It'll definitely make it a lot easier to change that fluid. I honestly don't understand why every diff doesn't have a drain plug, makes zero sense to me.
@@yeller95vette A C4 without any modifications is the way to go for potential buyers. The more mods the car has the more difficulty the next owner encounters when trouble shooting is needed. In many cases the mods were ill advised to start with. As for your mod no way is it 100% drilled straight or 100% of the shavings not in the differential and I'm certain the drain plug isn't flush so it will leak. Even if yours is the 1 in 1000 that's fine most every guy that follows your mod will at best have the leak, if not worse.
@@dalemihocik4732 great point. Know that in the realm of modifications the drain is pretty foolproof, I have zero concerns about doing it. I am confident will not leak from there. C4 are full of surprises even when they are not modified. I would not recommend anyone owning one that isn’t mechanically capable or prepared to pay a lot of money to others to keep it running.

Buyers of C4's, if you see a drain plug in the differential here's a great reason to pass on it and keep looking.
