[SPOILERS ALERT IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE]
The second movie is possibly a prequel to the first movie, so logically speaking there should be both SRK and Nagarjuna's character since they were a part of the brahmansh, protectors of the each pieces of brahmastra respectively. I really wish their characters are explored, both the characters seem well-written though less screen space and I want to know more about them.
I agree with prequel but srk and Nagarjuna character would be very young, because the battle between amruta and Dev took place 30 years ago, the film would be similar to origin like of Shiva but it will show him falling in love with Amruta and then going mad with power and the end battle will be on that island, so by that time srk and Nagarjuna would be very young, even deageing won't work.

There should be at least ounce to show background. of these two characters. They should be explored more. Mohan and Anish were said to be friends, they were a part of the brahmansh, they were the protectors of two astras themselves, there's a lot more to see. Maybe a spin-off for both of them would do.

I am excited for the prequel .. because part one really lacked some character building and back story
Amitabh Sir is already 80(Almost), So It would be really difficult for him to play his role in Trilogy. But Let's talk about Isha, She was kinda mysterious. Nobody knows her origin instead of her playing the role of a rich girl. I think she's a member of Brahmansh and was told to keep an eye on Shiva. Other than that, I could be wrong but I guess she's the power of healing. If Ayan can make it relevant in the next part that would be awesome.
Yeah that actually makes sense that she has power of healing that's why she didn't die when Shiva unleashed his fire power by the end in that circle ... if it's a tornado of fire than the temp inside of it would be a lot so that would explain Isha's survival

But I think Amitabh sir is the real villian in this movie and I think he tried to separate dev and amrita for brahmastra and he is not enough much powerful to fight with dev so he took the help of shiva.. it is really complicated but awesome

Actually the fact I wanna tell that dev fire is dark red because hes a dark being and shiva fire is pure that's the reason the fire colour is different and if you actually notice when amitabh sir lights the fire on the campfire it's fully orange so basically as per my thinking there are 3 types of fire also in the movie but I guess it's just for difference also...

I thought you would explain or mention some Easter Eggs like
1. SRK's character name is Mohon Bhargav, he is seen with a telescope and solving star charts that have Brahmastra symbols drawn. He mentions different animals as there exists Astras based on that mentioned by the voiceover. He is definitely a Space scientist. Total Swades reference.
2. Ranbir doing SRK pose signifies a love story. The first adventure between Ranbir and Alia is like starting off the song Ishq Shava from JTHJ. Alia belongs to a Bengali family.
3. The holders of pieces of Brahmastras are telepathically connected. Red signifies revenge/anger/love. Once the Astras are under the influence of Junoon those lights turn red.
4. There is a sequence where people pose with different Astras which is a reference to Avatar: The Last Airbender. The whole story is like Zuko and his father-- the Firebenders.
5. Deepika Padukone is Amrita! Maybe Ranveer is Dev. The body type matches with skin tone.

It's really a good film . It's on my expectations and I'm not at all disappointed. Some are saying that the love Angle can be avoided but I don't think so. The movie had all kinds of emotion. And everyone must go and experience it in theatre ❤️🔥
Ayan said in an interview that he has been fascinated from Harry Potter movies too so there must be a hell lot of back story going on while her mother died and why didn't she use water to extinguish the fire she was burning in. Also many scenes are inspired from Hollywood too. Still a nice start to the Astra-verse.

Ayan is ambitious film maker he will definitely improve everything in part 2 becoz it was written way back that's why there some ups and down according to our taste these days but he improve it in part 2 after seeing the audience response

- how and why isha suddenly came into life of shiva
- how shiva is able to see what is happening with srk-nagarjuna and guide or giving instructions to them like a king.
- why shiva feels incomplete without her
- why there is strong bond of love between them
-Jab guruji shiva ko puchte hai kaise tumhe daure padne Lage hai tab shiva ko realise hota hai ki jaise isha life me aai hai table lekin woh bolta nahi hai.
- shiva is the son of amrita and dev so he has evil powers as well.
- Guruji's ashram name is Amrita and dev so, there is connection among amrita-dev-shiva-guruji.
- one or two times I found isha also has powers but, she don't want to tell or reveal to Shiva or she is on another mission.
- Shiva ko Jab 2nd daura padta hai Jab wo isha ke sath bedroom me baitha hota hai tab picchese trishul aaraha hota hai..who destroyed that trishul ??

- at climax isha said to Shiva agar hum mare gaye to firse mujhe dhund lena.
-at climax when isha touches shiva then only shiva is able to tackle the power of brahmastra.
-after climax we see the image of brahmastra in shiva's eyes
-after the climax when shiva holds the brahmastra in his hands it wouldn't sparkle or lights up as before.
-who killed amrita or she herself sacrifice it.
-shiva ko daure red colour me hi kyu pade..means red colour significe darkness.
-only brahmansh will able to see what is happening with other brahmansh then, how and why he is able to see isha in his dream when she is in problem.
-Junoon praise shiva by seeing his power.

I think during the battle between amrita and dev...dev somehow took the jalastra from amrita as we can see it being used by junoon and at the post credit scene after the demolition of statue.
Also the astras which are with Dev are -
- Trishul (dont know the power of that astra...maybe that's agniastra)
- Vashmukut ( probably used for mind control/manipulation)
- Kawachastra(on the left shoulder)
- Jalastra (on the back side of hand)

As seen in movie dev is father of shiva and the next part is about dev so most probably they will explore prequel story for dev s character so their is a possibilty bcoz of SRK hype they bring him back in back story of dev I am full on ready for it

So, a fan theory from my end: (Plot for second movie)
In second movie they can show that after the final battle when Shiva returns to Guruji he meets nagarjunas' character also there and notices that he is the only one who can now see or talk to isha and for others she is no more, with a flashback and by nagarjuna it would be revealed that in actual isha was an astra whose power where like vayu (air) and that she was told this by nagarjuna when they met but didnt disclose to shiva , also explaining why shivas' power where more woken when she was with him (air and fire ) so coming back it would be told she sacrificed herself and in turn transferred the power of vayu into shiva so that he was able to conjure fire all by himself. So now ishas' is within him and only he can feel talk to her. Further then nagarjuna will reveal the back story of Deva. the story could be that Dev, SRK, Amrita, Nagarjuna were all friend who trained together in different ashram with their astras', but srk and dev were also scientist who researched on astra and there effects on human. as a result they found out that while in ancient time the astra where obtained by rishi munis who had immense knowledge and self control slowly gradualy as the astra were passed down to younger gen no one had the self control and thus astras started to grow their own minds and personality and tried to influence the user some good some bad. But SRK being fascinated by this learning determined he with his wife who could be a biotech engineer and wielder of vayu astra of one kind (not the one shown in movie) started a process where in they made a the astra fully take a human form (isha) which they treated as their daughter, as time passed dev also tried this and was partially able to transfer agniastras a little conscious to his son, however in doing so he used the astra too much that he was affected by agni astra to much that as by its' nature to consueme all in its' way he decided to get many astras then brahmastra, which makes him go fully evil .Further when he came to know about isha he felt that she might cause him problems in future so he attakced SRK and his wife but his wife ran away with isha and Amrita and nagarjuna came to save the day. With huge battle Dev was looked in the statue and and brahmastra divided to three peices and SRK deciding to leave his family behind to keep them safe and research on astras to solve the problem of being corrupt by the power. With SRK meeting guruji and telling him to establish a place where younger gen can be trained more mentally to handle the pressure.(Interval)
After interval we will be shown that all the effect of Dev trying to convert Shiva to a agniastra made shiva capable of absorbing each astras powers and he had now absorbed the power of brahmastra also. With this story unfolding shiva will go to an inner conflict that wether all his love for isha was just due to astras power (the harmony of fire and air) or wether he actually loved isha, with this we Dev will attack shiva and try to capture him with ultimate aim of having brahmastra to capture all the astra and be supreme, a fight between son father and inner turmoil of shiva for what is love, due to which he will be captured for he dont know how to use his new powers and dev will try to find out ways for him to obtain them from him The end
End credits: that there are other 2 super powerful astra inspired from Shiv ji and Vishnu ji who can be used for battling Brahmastra.

I think that significance of Isha's character was that she was the source of Shiva's energy. And also in the climax when Shiva attained his highest form and was stopping the destruction caused by brahmastra we could see Isha touching his chest to increase his energy even more. Therefore I think she must have part to play in future films of astraverse and may be she herself becomes master of any astra or something.
But they way the portrayed the love was forced I mean they could have done a better. First they showed a chapri nibba nibbi and then directly epic couple. That should have been a gradual development. And they told love is the most powerful but that shouldn't be told rather felt

Even though I should not compare this with mcu but I really cant help it. It's not the similarities rather the love story angle that compels me to do this. See no matter whatever you believe in the truth is that seeing the success of franchises like marvel they decided to have their own take at the flourishing market of cinematic universe films. But the fact is that whenever they made a film about a superhero it was solely not focused on a lovestory but it had it's focus on the contrast of events happening in the life of the protagonist which involved love rivalry and a perilous hero's journey. When you see an iron man movie it's not about iron man wanting to have a family with pepper potts but its main focus is on the hero facing his challenges loosing and standing up once again this time to put an end to his enemy. And this is what people want in a superhero movie. No doubt bramhastra delivered its fare share of action and drama but it more often had every aspect of itself wrapped around the love story of ranveer and Alia.
Which was disappointing at the least.
It'll be interesting to watch if the 2nd part of the movie can be based on the backstory of Dev..SRK will lead an important role in the movie..and everything will be set for the final part..in short this will be in a pattern that we saw in Bahubali movie

Epics like Mahabharat, ramayan, abhikgyanam shakuntalam, Etc should be released as movie and also in parts....aparts from this Our historic culture is so rich like ...king and queen .... From my point of view there is something about Alia’s character in the film because when ranbir asked her last name she didn’t tell and the way she fall for him at the first time and how she insist to come with him to Varanasi and the fact she did survive all this stuff at the end I think it’s written that way but who knows, may be it will be explored in next parts if there is one in the future.

This movie's main thing is Love dude
In the last it was said that Love is the most powerful thing
And the reason why this movie was more focused in Love story is because it's the first part and Love was the key to unlock Shiva's powers but probably in other parts their will be low focus on building love because It has already been done.
