First cutting job I ever did with a tracked tree cutter was in dense undergrowth like what your dealing with. Only thing we did differently was that we cut and sorted everything. Anything not big enough to go on the truck got chipped up for biomass. Awesome video as always.
Thats quite a snarl probably years ago when they hand cut they would put skidder blade down a bit and when it bumped a tree they would get out and cut it lol good luck hope the crew gets to feeling better
Tim, you ,Kevin and Chad hang on tight as life throws us curves occasionally. However, we get to see tree cutting from a different angle and you're fighting through quite well. I hope your Dad and Derrick feel better soon. Sometimes good health isn't appreciated until it has 'gone south' on you....speaking from my perspective here! ....13
Hoping that Derrick and your dad both get to feeling better soon. The brush is so thick where you're cutting, it seems like a skidder operator might miss a few of the trees you fell.
Two days ago I was going to ask you if you guys ever had to cut in some heavy underbrush, and then you put this up! DANG, WHAT A MESS!! 😆 Could lose a herd of elephants in that! Wishing you guys better health and luck 🤞! Thanks for sharing and take care. 👍
I was just about to comment on trying to do this lot with a chain saw when commented the same thing. LOL I just can't even imagine doing this lot with a saw hell I don't know how the skidders are going to find some of these trees. Stay safe out there and Best wishes to Dad and Derik
Tim question for you. All the little trees your cutting down do you use them or do leave them for composting? They could have been future cuttings, right?

Well no cell service means a quiet day in the woods. I understand it's a sec though if you didn't get your Maps download.
Speaking of spending all your time cutting your way to trees.. I love me some beech whips!
