Nancy is a better mother for Frankie. Even when JJ was telling her lies she knew something was wrong about him. But Frankie's mother would rather think that she's lying than the fact that her son has been forcing himself onto his sister for years. I honestly can't tell who's worse the brother who hurts his sister or the mother who blame it all on her daughter.

I'm from Australia and I'd heard about Hollyoakes for years but I'd never seen an episode. I saw a few shorts and this storyline in particular and the acting has been something incredible to watch. It's really compelling and impactful to see such an issue handled in this way. I'm hooked and will be looking forward to starting my journey from the first episode so I can get to know everyone.
I can sigh in relief now, every time this part was on I wanted to scream at the television. So glad he’s going down.

JJ is a monster. He feels the need to touch people to get his words across. So sick of freaks like him accusing their victims of lying while they lie as well to continue protecting their crumbling hold of their power.
Despite Frankie not wanting to go to the police initially, Darren should have told the police straight away. Things became more complicated because he didn’t.
Nancy is an MVP. I hope they get both Frankie and JJ help. A 15 year old boy only acts this way because he’s in a lot of pain and fear. Both of these kids need therapy.

This is tough to watch. A family member abused me as a adolescent and when I told my grandmother, she slapped me. I made sure everyone in the family knew and to protect their kids.

I agree with you KW-ro5ow ! Tom AND Cindy deserved a better on screen exit than that! I don't think they should be leaving anyway, as they've been there for such a long time. These cast cuts seem to be getting more and more ridiculous by the minute as I've just found out that even Sally St. Claire is leaving. I know the Hollyoaks producers are trying to cut back production costs to save money 💷💷💷 but surely they can come up with a better idea than axing cast members left, right and centre. And why didn't they play the original 90's Hollyoaks theme during Tom and Cindy's exit? At least that would've added nostalgia and made their departures seem more worthwhile at least.
@@tomspence8506 all true. I would've loved to see Tom develop and become a more mature character rather than just being the butt of the joke all the time. I'll miss Sally, nine years and no on screen goodbye? I like your idea of the old theme tune for Cindy and Tom.

As well as playing the 90's era Hollyoaks theme for tom and Cindy's departures they could've also shown old clips of Tom and Cindy with the old gang such as Max, O.B. Gordon, Helen, Mandy, Jude and Lewis. As for Sally, I'll obviously miss her because she became such a presence on the show and I like how the McQueen's adopted her and made her family even after Myra left.

What I don't get is that when Hannah falsely accused Gilly of touching her, Suzanne almost immediately believed her...I know Gilly never did that to Hannah but she still believed her daughter. And now she can't believe Frankie. Hopefully she opens her eyes.

Why is everyone praising Nancy when she’s convinced Darren to go behind Frankie’s back like that, Frankie asked for Darren not to tell ANYONE including social services, Nancy has betrayed that.
She's a child. I've been in her shoes exactly and it was terrible to be forced into saying something and reporting to police but looking back it was better for me.
Nancy was right. They weren't equipped to deal with it and not handling it the right way with professionals involved could further harm Frankie.
Darren even stated that he stuck into their house to "talk' to her. Darren probably feels like he's doing the right thing to protect a daughter he doesn't know very well but if it wasn't his other child who was the culprit I think he himself would have known that going to the authorities was the right thing to do.
Yeah well frankie is the child here and children can't get everything they Want. Don't report it then all that will happen is he will do it to the next girl
