- I did a 100 Days viking challenge on Ark Survival Evolved Fjordur mod map trying to collect the viking skins from 10 different caves, live on a boat, and defeat the broodmother spider twins Itsy and Bitsy before the end of my 100 days adventure.

I did not end up getting the gloves skin, but it is found in the yeti ice cave, sometimes you get it, sometimes you don't and I didn't realize this until my last day too late to go back.

Life Pro Tip - when you died in the lava the first time, bring a grappling hook and use k mode to locate your body, grapple it out of the lava, and as long as you dont destroy the body, you can still get the loot. This is because Item Cache's don't follow the laws of grapples.

Another great video! The one piece of advice I would give is that grappling is 100x easier from first person view. Can't wait for your next 100 days! I'd love to see Scorched Earth or Aberration!

@@elitereptilian200 A very fair point lol, I'm honestly just glad Ark is still getting tons of new players even now that the paid dlc is done. I would've said updates in general, but the latest creature vote has proved that wrong, so there's at least one more big update
I've never commented on any of your videos before but I gotta say you are so entertaining and I love your 100 days
maybe if you are up for a real challenge you can try doing what I'm doing and that's not putting down any foundation on solid ground you can only build on raft and platform saddles what makes really interesting if you wanna play on a large map like rag or lost island

43:30 You can actually get your body back! Use a grappling hook to bring your dead body to you, only problem is finding it XD Once saved a buddies dead body like that from the lava, with the help of a spy glass to find the body :)
(I do not trust ark parkour, i grappling hooked all the way through that cave when i did it) XD
I am forever changed by the jumping up stairs with a tiger in 3rd person view strat for the better. That made me subscribe and like the video, because you and your wee one must be protected at all costs.

1:01:30 tip from an ex pvper, you can grapple your body in lava. It's the only way to safely recover your gear when the body is in lava, it can be pretty hard to hit at times but will work.
After seeing how that lava had a false floor, probably wouldn't work. On Ragnarok or other areas it might be useful
When i saw this title i had to watch this, because this is essentially what i do all the time😂
Im always like “this isnt a great base spot so lemme build a small starter base on a raft so i can move everything with me when i am gonna explore for resources and maybe a good base location. Eventually i just keep on expanding my raft more and more, build some bases on land but never use them and then the raft eventually will stand somewhere on a beach and i build a base around it, around the time i am gonna do the boss battle and am basically done with the map😂
