Honda CRF150R oil and transmission fluid change

Here is a how to for engine oil/filter and transmission oil. Pretty straight forward, just don't strip those drain bolts!

I have a 2024 crf 150r doing the first oil change .. just about 3- hours on it .. And doing a install for the motor timer ..

There is only one filter on the engine side and you can run the same motorcycle oil on both sides.

If I'm going out for a Spon on it do I check the oil when cold or hot thanks

Cold, if it's hot just let it sit for a minute for the oil to drain down to the bottom.

How do you check the transmission fluid? My 2024 only has a cap and no dipstick.

There is a check bolt but I would just change it every other oil change and not worry about it, the check bolts strip easily. If you don't have a leak it's not going anywhere.
