Nicely done - I like how you added the bars. I want to do something similar, but I want to use a worm gear winch instead of the pulling up/down. Just having trouble getting all the right parts together...
I saw a few pictures of this the other day on Facebook. Very nice sir! I trailer my PA14 also using PVC for the kayak to rest on. I have just one question, how difficult is it to load or off load using this system? It would seem to me that the ropes would sway alot making it difficult.

Very nice...I am jealous.
Did you just cut one 8' long 3" diameter PVC pipe in half? And a 10' half slot channel strut in half?
Good Job you you should've added the wheels the way I had it on mines when you asked me about it
The wheels I originally added on my set up to move the kayak from one area to another, still being on the lift
Great Job! Thanks for the video! What knot did you use on the Oval Carabiners?
just a stock standard blood knot
What model of harken system did you use?
could i get a table diagram by any chance?
Thank you and Tight Lines!
Sorry mate I don't have a drawing. Can I help in another way?
Just built one nearly the same- absolutely shittin myself on the first lift 😟😟😟!!! All good now though do it with out thinking.
Haha I was the same the first time I hoisted the kayak up :)

I lower the platform to the ground and simply lay my foot on it. then slide the kayak onto the pipes. using the Boonedox wheels.
