ED, CBI , Income Tax Department raids and books cases on offenders . It has done so in the past and so is doing now. But when all such offenders are in family owned political parties, every time such offenders will be booked who ever is in power .
During UPA /Congress regime and now during NDA/ BJP regime, the culprits are the same.
Lalu Yadav cases were booked by Congress, and Court proceedings and conviction is only coming out now.

The race is denoted by Jati which is based on biology and birth. For example, manava jati for humans, pasu jati for animals, pakshi jati for birds, keetaka jati for insects etc. Even to denote the lineage among humans, we used the Gotra system. That checks the continuous male lineage.
Varna means 'classification or grouping or color'. This is like forming associations for professions which is completely legal and normal today. Like scientific, business, and educational associations, sports associations, etc.
The real system in ancient India which first started was 'Varna system' and it was possible to change Varna based on qualification. Brahmin (Spiritual people) , Kshatriya (warrior class), Vysya (merchants/farming class) and Shudra (supporting classes) are all for social order.
The same things are found in all corporate organizations. CEO, CFO, Senior Management, Middle level, Working class labour, etc. Anyone can't just become anything! They need to get qualifications based on effort and merit through education in the respective field.
There are innumerable examples in our scriptures where notable people changed Varnas. There were Sudras who became Saints, Brahmins and Kings who became Sudras, etc. Outcasts were those who were acting against society, basically the criminals.
This good system over time, during various invasions, loss of culture, etc, had transformed into the rigid caste system as we see today. This caste system shall be eliminated because this is hereditary, and based on birth. It is the Kula system that is the problem, not the Varna system.
Now check who represents 'Kula (the families)' in India politics, and who represent 'Varna' system. All family parties support 'Kula system'. In theory, national parties support 'Varna system' because the organization of society is inevitable.
Who shall be supported?

What an irony. No party is Saint here. Senthil Balaji is arrested for job for scam which happened in AIDMK government when he was then AIDMK minister. DMK opposed him at that time.
