We bought in 2013 this Legacy with the 3.6L H6 engine. Still running today for us now almost 11 years old. It has 145,000 miles and the only things we have needed is a new master brake cylinder, new rear suspension, and new front suspension. That is it. Nothing major. We love this car and now our identical twins drive it as a reliable car. Since it does not have the CVT with the H6 engine the 5 speed is expected to last until about 200,000 miles. So we should get a few more years out of it before it goes. We do like this car a lot. Those 0-60 mph times I cannot get. We take about 7.5 seconds and when we test drove the 4 cylinder it took 8.9 seconds. Still fast enough but not as fast as stated here.
I have a 14 Legacy 2.5i with 110K very solid car. I also have a modified 2010 outback 3.6R with 194K. both are still running strong. Legacy and Outback are still a shared platform.
I have a 09 2.5 GT sedan (the top model imv), really happy for it, I have had many car De-dion Alfa GTV, BMW E39, Honda Civic VTI, Audi A4 2.6, But apart from my Alfa nothing drove like my Subaru.
Who told you that? I still own my 2013 Legacy with the 3.6L H6 engine, with 145,000 miles and no problems with the engine or the 5 speed automatic. The older pre 2009 3.0L H6 engine had problems but this bigger H6 has none of those issues.
just bought one fingers crossed its a keeper

Nice video, thanks. Safety rating is probably worth a mention too.
You forgot about the turbo 2.5L for this car
The 3.6 is not a v6.....its a flat 6....
Yep, sometimes V6 just slips out - you are correct
Any Subaru that’s has a 6 cylinder is trash 😅
Subaru has a reliable 4 cylinder box tho, that’s when the legacy is nice 🔥
I have a 6 2012 Outback and it’s a great car. Never had a problem with it and it has 80k miles

2009 legacy has no cvt
