- A tribute to the true lion king, Scar. This video is to show that Scar was not always such an evil, sinister character as the movie portrays him to be. Something caused him to change who he was and this video shows that. Most images are pictures and video images are very few. Hope you enjoy anyway!

yes that is the story line presented by disney.this is simply a stronger plot presented by fans. This story line also provide a parallelism between scar and kovu, in that scar who was evil was scared by his father. But kovu who was good was scared by his mother.
It made me SO sad at the picture of Scar getting abused. Wahhh :( I love the vid though!

You have to agree that scar just wanted to be happy, and that his madness drove him to killing his brother, but even after so, he became more mad and sad he even did so. Regreat is deep within scar, he does his actions without thinking of the act after words...I understand him.

onlu prob is ahadi didn't give taka(scar) his scar.What happened was taka(scar) wanted to get mufasa in trouble by makeing a water buffalo named boma angry but backfires when rafiki saved mufasa but couldn't save taka too.So the angry water buffalo ran and scratched taka in his face giving him an unhealable scar.Then as punishment for his actions Ahadi gave him the name scar.
but my personal opinion is he hates mufasa because he was saved and scar was left behind.

a water buffalo named boma gave him his scar because the plan was to get mufasa in trouble for boma's anger but mufasa was rescued by rafiki and taka was left behind and was scratched by boma's horns that is what happened.ahadi his father as punishment gave him the name scar for his actions

Acording to Disney's version, Scar (aka Taka) tried to get a herd of carabou I think to kill his brother after finding out he was going to become king, but got kicked by one of their hooves and got his scar then. But I like your version better ^^

My guess is the picture with four lion cubs, one is mufasa, scar and Sarabi... Zira could be the forth.

Scar actually fell onto a buffulo horn and got that scar on his right eye. I looked it up on lionking dot org
taka got his scar from a water buffalo named boma but rafiki resuceud mufasa before he was attaked and rafiki left taka behind because he couldn't carry both of them. so as punishment ahadi named him scar for makeing boma angery. so that's why i think scar said "dont you turn your back on me". just a hint =p

ahadi promised taka he would take taka on his first hunting lesson but instead took mufasa to do something else which when he found boma he wanted to make him angry and get mufasa in

I assume you're referring to the pictures used in the video... All pictures in the video were drawn by other artists, not me.
Well it was never confirmed in the movie tho there are some storybooks with some stories about Mufasa as a cub I believe. I still haven't ha the chance to read them yet, but anyway... It's just a picture for the video. I personally don't believe Ahadi gave Taka his Scar.

Oh my. Bad music choice. :S I don't care what the lyrics might be saying, this music is just plain angry. What needs to be heard in this particular silent montage is something sweet and innocent as we see Taka growing up like any other lion cup, something tragic at the catalyst that leads to his downfall, and finally something utterly hateful as he is transformed into the evil Scar that we all know and loathe (love?) today.
