I'd go with the new version since the sweeter aftertaste lasts longer and the flavor overall seems a little richer compared to the "older" Coke Zero, Heidi! As long as both are still available, for the time being, you've got some solid choices! Oh and I definitely agree on Diet Coke not holding a candle to Coke Zero in general! Coke Zero has just a sweeter overall taste and it's much closer to regular Coke so I instantly preferred it too! Thanks, as always, for watching! :-)

Well; I hate to burst every bodies bubble. I was never a fan of diet beverages. Years ago, I tried Coke Zero and that all changed. Because of this product, I was able to transition to diet drinks. I was happy when restaurants began serving this product/ It gave me a diet drink option that I could finally enjoy. A friend of mine purchased me the new coke zero. I took ONE taste and literally SPIT. It threw the rest out. I was convinced that for some reason, I had gotten a defective product. I tasted it at a restaurant. The taste and reaction was the same. So I went from a product that changed my whole attitude about diet drinks, to a product that I found completely UNDRINKABLE. The old adage rears its ugly head, if it aint broke, dont fix it till it is FWIW. I was at Costco where they serve Pepsi. (I DONT drink Pepsi products/ No exceptions. I took a small taste of Diet Pepsi. BINGO. THere was that Coke Zero Sugar taste. So I guess the idea was to make the product taste like Diet Pepsi I hope they are happy because I;m not

I really do like Coke Zero. I also do drink diet sodas. I know some people probably don't because for one thing, I think they're saying that Coke Zero has an aspartame type of aftertaste. I also want to say that don't drink that much soda but I will still have a chance to try the Coke Zero Sugar though.
Yeah, I've definitely limited the amount of soda I drink over the years but every once in awhile I opt for Coke Zero aside from the long-neck bottle Cokes with Pure Cane Sugar. It's just the better alternative compared to High Fructose Corn Syrup in standard versions of Coke and you should always opt for the Pure Cane route if you have a choice. I really enjoyed what they did with this new version of Coke Zero though! A richer, smoother and longer lasting sweet aftertaste! Thanks, as always, for watching, Brendan! :-)

I am glad that they are making improvements on things as important as diet soda. It's good to have options. I tried a bottle of Coca Cola zero sugar the other day. Like you, I also liked it. I don't drink sodas that often but was curious to try the new Coca Cola Zero sugar since I like Coke Zero. It was so nice to see that you liked the fuller after taste like I did.
I love Coca Cola it's my favorite type of side to buy and the Coke Zero Sugar I think I will try this cause of the same sugary tasty as the regular. Definitely buy the Zero Sugar it's really sweet
This is a very good review, Ian. Much better than others I have seen. Thanks for that. I love Coke Zero! When I heard they were discontinuing it for this new flavor I was sad. I was worried this was "New Coke" all over again. :( I lived through the "New Coke" debacle of '85. Back then I drank sugar drinks (not now) and Coca-Cola was _the only_ cola I enjoyed. I drank it daily; I may have been addicted. Also, my best friend and I drank Jack & Coke -for spiritual reasons - several times weekly. When I tried to drink New Coke it tasted like Pepsi... yuck. It didn't mix with Jack well either.I felt like a good friend had died and I would never see them again. My days were devoid of proper refreshment. I sank into a deep cola funk. Then I became angry. Then I stopped going to church. Then I became an atheist. Then a nihilist. Then a Republican. Then a radical, violent vegan. Obviously, I was a mess. I even questioned my gender. It exhausts me to even recall that dark two and a half month period. But, I'm OK now! I mean... My psychiatrist has some reservations, but I'd say I'm good.

I am glad you told us that palette cleanser was green tea, because you know what it looks like, right?
