So I've never really heard of "Hard Dance" before. Is it a new/hybrid genre? Sounds like it has a trance/techno base, but that's about all I can tell from this song. Does anyone know of other songs that exemplify the genre? Thanks!
Hard Dance is a sub genre of Hardstyle really the main difference is it's more 'Hardcore' and slightly more upbeat. There are only slight differences in genres like Hard Dance, Hardstyle, Hardcore, and Happy Hardcore. You could probably add Hands Up to that list also.
The first song I ever listened to that was "Hard Dance" was "Hero" by Pegboard Nerds and Elizvita. So when I heard this song, which is also "Hard Dance," I was like really? It seems like a big difference between the two, but I still like this song regardless of genre.

i think it has something to do with the bass for the hard part and the rest is like hardstyle if i am correct
