How about the Angel game. Remember the two bricks she threw up for free throws with like 28 seconds left and a one point lead? Her first game with the Sun she started. Not good. Now she comes off the bench. You Fever fans have to hope she’s in the game if it’s late and close. She’ll miss. I guarantee it. Some can’t handle the glare that’s now on them. Dana is one of those. It’s not her teammates as some like to stir up and she’s said as much. Should some fans act better? Of course, but welcome to the human race. Every athlete in every sport has to deal with this. Some embrace it and do well. Others don’t and fade away. There is going to be a big changeover in the guard positions in the next 3 years. Some of the vets need to realize this isn’t the old W any longer. With fame comes criticism. No one offers critiques on nobodies.
I saw a clip where Angel Reese was on a fast break and almost missed a layup with that form she uses. She was immediately preparing for a rebound after the attempt since she couldn't even trust that it was going in.
I watched most of the player exit interviews and in Chenn’s defense the 3x3 question was framed around the Olympic team. The media member said while watching the US 3x3 team he thought Chennedy would be a good fit. I also thought he was referring to USA basketball and not unrivaled. That’s why Chennedy said she didn’t think they (USAWBB) were interested in her.
None of these draft picks will want to go to this Sky team with all of this drama. I pray my Notre Dame girls Olivia Miles and Sonia Citron don't wind up there. I hope Citron slides to the Fever.
3v3 basketball is a completely different game, not sure why many of these players would have interest in playing in Unrivaled instead of overseas or AU. I feel a few players are not going to have the speed to keep up in 3v3, also seems like a lot of iso play

This Chicago Sky team needs an experienced Head coach that everyone will respect, and by everyone I mean the current players, potential veteran free agents in the "W" as well as overseas and the Sky front office. This Coach has to be great in Pre-Game preparation, In-Game adjustments, with the ability to play call with that one play to win a close game; great coaching can sometimes make up the short fall in young teams. In short this organization needs someone to stabilize the ship. I know many will disagree with whom I will suggest because of how he left, but bring James Wade back. The only reason he left was because he needed more money for his family (Young Children). This is a Big Girl League now; Sky fans need to forgive and move on. I know he wasn't big on the draft and made a foolish decision to trade away future assets but his teams were always well prepared and his play calling and In-Game adjustments were always on point. That was just the thinking of most veteran coaches that most young players Fresh out of college are not ready to play in the "W"; before the last two drafts many players needed seasoning overseas before succeeding in the "W". Plus he knows the overseas game(free agent pick ups...ie Alanna Smith) and vets love him!
I don't think the Sky are toxic. I yhink there was a leadership void that Angel dtepped into. Maybe the vets were intimidated by thr new eyes, criticism, and pressure. They were not consistent and I'm sure losing also contrubuted to the environment. Chucago already has a bad reputation for being cheap. Spoon needs to grow as a coach and they need pieces that fit better. They were predicted to be last for a reason.
Now that Weatherspoon is gone, maybe she will stay. I can’t imagine how Chicago can get a good coach to replace Weatherspoon with the history they have. If the administration can pick her I imagine they will continue to mess up the coaching decisions.
Hey Mick, I'm curious - if you could make any changes you wanted, what rule changes would you like to see the W adopt? Maybe that would be a good topic for a vid! I ask because I'm new to watching this league and some things seem obvious to me. In my opinion there are too many timeouts - it destroys the flow of the game. I'd love to see them get rid of the reset timeouts and reduce the overall number of timeouts available. Also, put time limits on reviews - way too long. One change that would be radical so it'll never happen, but take a page from hockey's book and remove the ability to commit a foul to your own advantage by stopping the clock. In other words, a defensive foul doesn't stop the play, the stoppage would be on the next change of possession. Two reasons: 1, again, keep the game moving, and 2, committing a foul should never create an advantage for the team that committed it! Lastly, I'd love to see the W players acknowledge the fans at the end of the game the way hockey players go to center ice and raise their sticks to the fans. Maybe a towel wave or something? I'm sure there are others like stop calling T's because a players smacks the base of the net in frustration. That's idiotic. What else?
****Mick, can you do a video on every record, Season & Rookie CC broke or tied and how many total points she generated? Thanks for all of the incredible content.
I noticed Cardoso wasnt in that off season group. Sky will fail again next year. Ignoring their first pick for their second pick, they deserve any failure they find.
Reese might end up at golden state if Chicago puts her on unprotected status I sense a locker room problem. I wonder if some of the players just didn’t care anymore if they made playoffs or not. Could be they were just pissed off enough with management and gave the screw you to them.

@MickTalksHoops yes he was called that, but his shot was terrible and as we know shooting in college and the pros are two different beast, now if she gets with the right trainer to work with her keeping the ball above her head and slow down in won't take that long to fix it, it's really up to her, but it's really a quick fix.
Chicago and Atlanta clearly need new ownership, Get true professional talent in the WNBA, Angel is truly an amateur talent, No doubt she can rebound, but she needs to be Barbie and ride off into the sunset, She’s drunk on the attention
@micktalkssportspodcast My question on free agency is whether the new players' agreement allows easy transfer back-and-forth between foreign players and the WNBA? if it does, will that give an opportunity for a whole new group of free agents?
I do not care what people say. Reese has a lot to learn. But nobody can rebound like her. the ball sticks to her hands. If she can sort that layup out.
No one offers critiques on nobodies.
no lie in anything you said
I saw a clip where Angel Reese was on a fast break and almost missed a layup with that form she uses.
Angel will have to prove herself to be HALF THE STRONG CLASSY PERSON Caitlin did while everyone was against her.
What free agent would want to come to the Sky with the drama and focus on Reese, it would be career killer and very stressful.
You can't have the 8th best shooter shoot the ball the most. All her rebounds are canceled out by her bad shooting.
And this is what "they" do to communities! This goes WAY DEEPER than just the LNBA.
Is it safe to say that the Marina Mabrey trade started all the struggles of Chicago Sky?
As long as Chenn stays with the rookies, I will continue to root for the Sky.
The sky drama is off.the charts.......
None of these draft picks will want to go to this Sky team with all of this drama. I pray my Notre Dame girls Olivia Miles and Sonia Citron don't wind up there. I hope Citron slides to the Fever.
Reese is a good rebounder and very bad at everything else and they play her like she’s the top offensive player on the team. 👎
see how you mentioned everything but mentioning her offern what her defense?but u only care bout offense you don’t care bout ball
Besides the CC basketball, the drama is better than a soap. It is real life crazy.

Nice going…
3v3 basketball is a completely different game, not sure why many of these players would have interest in playing in Unrivaled instead of overseas or AU. I feel a few players are not going to have the speed to keep up in 3v3, also seems like a lot of iso play
Sky need to get rid of all they guards but Chen angel Reese need to improve in everything on the offense side of ball Kamilla just need to focus on finishing around rim and a lil on her defense Coach tspoon need to get better as a Coach sky New GM need to Add the right guards to play with angel and kamilla so it good they ain’t in playoffs next season they will be a better Team
Kamilla should work with Hakeem or McHale on low post moves. She would be unstoppable.Big Mama is a Baddie❤
The purpose of a team is to win games, not promote a players social media brand. Having a Barbie night to promote one player is not a team anyone wants to be on, because it's not a team.
pretty sure the veteran player's LOOOOVED that.
The Sky is where players' careers go to die.
The comments are obsessed with Reese . Weird bunch.
Get with the program
Love Clark hate Reese
Question. Did Reese ever get a rebound and kick it out this season? I assume she must have, but I never saw it. You’d think the worst shooter inside 5’ in the league would kick it out to the open 3 from time to time.
Awesome, a YT video of someone reading someone else's description of what other people said.
Angel Reese quit with a fake injury that is all you need to know about her. Hell even if the injury is real she quit on her team
U make zero sense. How can she quit with an injury? Prove her injury is fake. U can't. Just bs self-serving narratives yall put out to continue your hate.
@@djlove9597 Doctors said she could play and she chose not to. Can you prove her injury is real? Even if it is real she still quit on her team
@Jamie-ff1zm Yes, she could play and injure it further. Didn't we learn from RGIII? Who in their right mind would risk injuring themselves further just because of how people will think? She made the smart move, and people like you will always find a way to turn into something negative.
@@djlove9597 The only reason Reese called it a day was she didn’t want to be humiliated in the ROTY vote. In that sense, it surely was a smart move on her part. Problem is, she’ll still be humiliated when the votes are counted.
Who in their right mind would want to go to sky lol.
Why go where everything is going to be built around Reese
If she wanted to improve her jumper and lay up, she would have done so by now. She has had plenty of time to put the work in during college.
Reese and other players 1st need to learn to stop traveling, and the refs need to do a better job of calling it on the players.
Paige will to a expansion team there are 3 teams coming people this draft will be crazy
"Player experience" meaning practice facilities, housing, etc.
Yet,we are Not hearing how Toxic Angel's fans are too their own Sky players, but talking about how toxic CC's fans are
Hey Mick, I'm curious - if you could make any changes you wanted, what rule changes would you like to see the W adopt?
Hearing that there's a league a lot like the WNBA but with dudes -- gonna watch that when need to watch basketball, which isn't often.
I noticed Cardoso wasnt in that off season group. Sky will fail again next year. Ignoring their first pick for their second pick, they deserve any failure they find.
Reese is all about the spot light
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ if the WNBA was good…… the players would not have to continually remind us “ the WNBA is good”
Why would a shooter want to go there when their best rebounder doesn't pass out of the paint
Gee what a surprise Chicago's coach is not a good 1 , she sacrificed her team to kiss the ass of A.R.
The Sky fans are crashing OUT on Twitter 😂😂😂😂😂
Could PB end up with the Sparks? I bet she could be a key piece in turning them around, especially with a healthy Brink.
For the algorithm 🎉
Be interesting that the Chicago Sky Town team exits the WNBA.
Who is this Reese person everyone is talking about?
Maybe Reese should get a bar implanted in her wrist? I mean, it would have to help her shoot straighter wouldn't it?
Swoopes and the narrow minded
Members of their little click that has made no profit in 20 Years backed the wrong rookie Angel.
Who’s to say AR comes back? She could always say she’s done with BBall and focusing on her pod cast and social media platform
Reese might end up at golden state if Chicago puts her on unprotected status
I sense a locker room problem. I wonder if some of the players just didn’t care anymore if they made playoffs or not.
Could be they were just pissed off enough with management and gave the screw you to them.
I wouldn't be at all surprised if Barbie bricklayer outright quit and became a horrible social media "influencer", model or actress along with her horrible podcast. YT would welcome and keep her on the platform regardless on how bad she is as long as the make $$$$ off her.
Insted of taking angel they should have taken kate martin she is just as good as a facilitator as cc on half court it would have helped carter and maybarry and mayberry would have stayed and we would have been in the playoffs its the toxicity of angel cost the team every one wants to leave.
You make good content but imho you shouldn't diminish your content by putting sensationalized thumbnail "quotes" which were never actually said. Keep it real.
Sky coach wasted #3 draft pick Cardoso’s talent
The Sky is falling
She can, I saw Lonzo Ball change his in one season and became a really good 3 pt shooter, hus shot was broken broken.
Lonzo was so good at shooting in college that he was called "steph curry with a 40 inch vertical"
@@MickTalksHoops why u always have ar name in your mouth are u obsessed with her
@MickTalksHoops yes he was called that, but his shot was terrible and as we know shooting in college and the pros are two different beast, now if she gets with the right trainer to work with her keeping the ball above her head and slow down in won't take that long to fix it, it's really up to her, but it's really a quick fix.
@FrankJones-k2h I think he gives Angel her due when she deserves it.
Reese is a drama queen who plays victim when things don't go her way.
Continue with your Angel Reese hate, that's the only thing Clark's fans want to hear, what have a beginning have ab end.
Look at the Sky team after the trade and tell me what you see compared to all of the other teams. Fiebich is not going to the Sky.
@micktalkssportspodcast, who do you think the next president of the Fever will be? Is Cheryl Miller a good choice? Will Dunn stay or retire?
Chicago and Atlanta clearly need new ownership,
Get true professional talent in the WNBA,
Angel is truly an amateur talent,
No doubt she can rebound, but she needs to be Barbie and ride off into the sunset,
She’s drunk on the attention
Paopao won't be a good pro.
The coach sucks , that’s where everything falls on .
Buddy, you need to get some sleep.
So where is Reese’s exit interview? More special treatment?
CHI Sky sh*t show for sure ! Only watching if Fever playing them....IMO
Wow the yawning and swallowing
@micktalkssportspodcast My question on free agency is whether the new players' agreement allows easy transfer back-and-forth between foreign players and the WNBA? if it does, will that give an opportunity for a whole new group of free agents?
the Sky really are embracing literally the city of Chicago and it's plight to their detriment
find a new coach.....
The Sky is an awesome team! Wait and see. Yall will eat all your words.
Would you stop playing with your hair !!! We all think you look pretty so there is no reason to primp in front of the camera. LOL🤣🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I do not care what people say. Reese has a lot to learn. But nobody can rebound like her. the ball sticks to her hands. If she can sort that layup out. She is going to become one of the best players in the league. she may be a attention seeker and love the drama. But i think she has embraced the bad girl image that caitlin clarks fans have labeled her as. i think it is good for wnba to have this rivalry. As much as these senitive snowflakes keep moaning about it. I kept hearing.. the CC hype will die off as the season goes along.. she broke the record for attendances on her last game. Meaning that was bullshit. the WNBA need to appreciate the new fans and ignore the few trolls and idiots
