    His nickname is El Loco, every top manager names him as their inspiration, actually, he’s been unlucky with big teams, he’s always been hired to coach small teams, and he always transferred these small teams into beast teams. Secondly he is a no nonsense man, he signed for SS Lazio in the Italian league and resigned 5 hrs later simply because the club president questioned his authority and limits, and he showed him what he is capable of doing.
    As a Nigerian, watching the World Cup in 2002 in japan/Korea, the man organized one of the strongest and baddest Argentine squad of all time.
    He’s my mentor, my idol, I am learning how to replicate his style philosophy and systems in my coaching career.
    The man is too much!!!. Simply put !!!

    • @cryptohodler824
      @cryptohodler824 5 років тому +13

      Well that strongest argentina was eliminated in group stage i would not say it was strongest ever, the best argentina was of Carlos Bilardo, that Argentina was strong in defense and was organized very well, his coaching work is not mentioned as much because he had Maradona, but one person on pitch in football match means nothing if you dont have well organized team you will not go through, he had a team that played strong, organized, fantastic at set pieces and very well prepared. So its really sad when someone does not mention him Bilardo when talking about best argentina side.

      I will say that Bielsa is great coach, coach to create players, but not a great tactician and person to lead clubs with formed players to success, because he is not a tactician, he plays his style and he does not care to change ,to play for result.

      @Grey Chip Hi there, buddy! I'm sorry I can't tell you much from the Argentine viewpoint because I'm Chilean. However, one of my best friends is both Argentinean AND a Bielsa fan just like me. We follow this silly ritual in which we stand up and salute whenever Bielsa's name comes up =). If it's any indication, I've kept an eye on each one of Bielsa's gigs since he left the Chilean national team (one sad, sad day for me). I've been following his run at Leeds since the day he was formally introduced there and I am very pleased with what I see. Judging from what I know, don't be surprised if you run into Argentines or Chileans wearing Leeds colours. I, for one, will be rooting for Leeds for as long as Bielsa is at the helm (can't call myself a fan, though. That pledge is reserved for my beloved Santiago Wanderers). Bielsa is indeed an honest man and very straightforward. I know he loves being around real folks and I suspect Yorkshire, the way you describe it, must remind him of his beloved Rosario. Good luck at Rotherham this Saturday!

      @Grey Chip And Leeds did it again... Congrats! Next game vs Norwich City, IMHO, could be make it or break it. There's still 16 games left. These are the tricky ones, though. Watch out for players missing out the next games due to injury or cards. I wouldn't be too concerned about who wins, but rather on which teams ends up in better shape. Go Leeds!

      It's different with top sides. You have to not only manage a team, but also higher expectations, higher media attention and criticism, and stronger player egos (due to their high quality). If you don't maintain control over those egos, locker room will be dysfunctional. That's what separates the likes of Pep and Klopp (and several others) from the rest.

    His ideas & Philosophy is pretty dope & current manager also believe Biesla is good , the thing is he doesn't coach pretty much quality players & when he makes a mistake , people say he ain't good. His time in France wasn't good & after his 2002 Argentina Team , he's has been under shadows & only some football fans knw abt him , current generation who's completely after the names of Mourinho , Pep , Zidane , Jupp & Recently Klopp doesn't knw what biesla is capable . Every manager makes mistakes but this man learn from'em . I've always admired Wenger for what he did on the pitch & behind the scenes . He may not won UCL but his football was something else . Counter side , SAF won more Trophies but personally Wenger's football was on another level . I often see people sayin Pep did Tiki - Taka as they read on UA-cam or in articles but that's not just tiki taka , without Positional play it's just nothing just like Barca did in the previous season . Positional player of Wenger & Current City squad is something similar except City's current system is hard to exploit unless players make mistakes. That's the reason city gains more clean sheets yet scored a lot . Biesla also does Positional play but the thing is this kind of game plan requires specific positional sense & able to survive pressure.

    Let this be a lesson to all the working class fans of Leeds, this is how you succeed in life by analysing your life...what holds you back and what you would like to achieve. I teach a lot of white working class kids in Leeds [ I live in Leeds also and am Asian] and sometimes they lack the sense to believe in themselves...I am going to use the Leeds manager in one of my lessons to provide an alternative perspective on how to get prepared for life...btw I really hope Leeds gets back to the premier league where they belong.

      I think it is fairly hyped for a number of reasons:
      1) it is different. It's not your usual boring conference.
      2) it is entertaining and interesting. Related to the first point.
      3) he tells the truth. Instead of going the normal route of denying everything and making this a "your word vs mine" kind of thing in which nothing more would have happened, he owned up to it.
      4) it does say something relevant. First, it provides insight on the type of work these managers put on. Second, it questions the notion that "spying" is something that should be so overjealously watched upon.
