I work as an Admin Assistant at my local DSS and at times I feel like a caseworker. I’m seriously thinking about applying for that position. There is a high demand right now for caseworkers. The only that stands in my way is the caseloads. The load is like 2 or 3 hundred cases per worker. That’s a lot of cases for one person.

Thank you for sharing this info. I have an interview with DHS for an eligibility specialist and I’m very interested in this position but very nervous because I’ll be interviewing with three people. I was a medical transcriptionist for years and worked with in medical insurance authorization, but I don’t have a degree. Can you share some of the interview questions that I might be asked. Thank you for your help.
