In this video Dr. Janine gives 9 tips to help with uterine fibroids. She suggests fixing leptin resistance by doing things like watching the sunrise and sunset, decrease sugars and carbs in the diet and practicing cold therapy. She recommends decreasing exposure to xenoestrogens that can be found in sunscreens, plastics, insecticides and toothpaste, just to name a few. Dr. Janine talks about decrease unhealthy fats and increase good fats, taking supplements like magnesium zinc and probiotics, as well as using a castor oil pack. She also suggests increase I3C foods in the diets like broccoli and cabbage, and using herbal medicines. Lastly, Dr. Janine suggests meditation and crystal energy to help with uterine fibroids.

I was diagnosed with iron-deficiency anemia 5 years ago. This year, I got the uterine fibroids diagnosis. I take iron and 1000mg vitamin C daily. If I start the magnesium, will it mess with the iron that I already take?
So turmeric will help to shrink fibroids?
You know what’s really upsetting. I have a large fibroid a size of a grapefruit and I suggested my obgyn about hormonal issues to do a blood panel and she said that it had nothing to do with hormones but instead I just need the surgery and wanted to give me more hormonal pills. Very sad. I’m so disappointed with the current medical care.

That second chakra stuff is so mystical. 80% of black women have fibroids. So does that mean they all have relationship / second chakra issues? I don’t think so!
You should mention vitamin D and EGCG! Lots of studies on this, plus B6. Please share and refer to actual NIH studies and less mystical chakra information.
