Hello there - rarely ever comment on videos however I thought I would point out that if you rotate your screwdrivers 90 degrees it will fix your sliding issue. My OCD does not like the alternating handle side either, but in our work toolbox its almost a necessity to conserve space. Also, reaching for a screwdriver in your current layout you likely have to angle your wrist whereas turning them 90 degrees and facing left-right makes for an easy grab. Good video!
@@DemoDad101 agreed! How are you liking the series 3! I wanted one but my wife got me a craftsman premium and it’s ok still going to get a series 3 in the future
One of the best No-BS tool box tours ever, IMO. And I am a sucker for organization, just like you. I remember your unboxing vid of the tool boxes you did with your son, which I loved. Love those widgets, but I know they are not cheap. What was the total cost of those for your set up? Subbed your channel...... 😎
$1475 in those damn widgets. But, they’ve allowed me to get every penny of space out of this box and more. The widgets were basically the same price as the box lol. I will Say that not all the widgets are really worth the money. The wrench and sockets are. The other stuff…meh. The Tekton organizers or Ernst seem like a great deal also.
Most of those tools are brand new. I’ve been slowly deciding what I want versus what I need…over the past decade or more. We bought this new property in 2019/2020 and there was finally space to outfit a proper shop. I actually rarely work on cars these days. I grew up on a small dairy farm. Our old shop is used just like the is one. For everything! Most of my projects are tractor centric.
I like the Olsa stubbies. My favorite are the Milwaukee wrenches. I mostly work on equipment. I’m a noob so I like to experiment on stuff I can live without if I break it lol.
Indeed. It’s clearly temporary. That’s why it’s all armored cable with all the boxes mounted to a board. That way I can move it until the renovations on the other side of the wall are underway. Then I can pull them back over and permanently mount everything.
Anybody else wish like hell we could just get an overall look at that toolbox. I really appreciate the review. I just wish you zoomed out a few more times. I feel like we are right up against it.
@@DemoDad101 I appreciate you! I did find another video you made where you did give us an overall look. 😆 I wasn't trying to criticize you personally I was just being a crybaby. 😂 You did a great job covering important details

It was like that when I bought the property. It’s all temporary wiring. I put all the switches on a panel so I could move them around easier when framing and painting. I have plans to raise the header on that wall and renovate the carriage house side that you don’t see much of in my videos. Once that is done, all those wires and switches will be moved to one bank by the main man door. Hopefully I can get that done this summer. We will have to see if funds will allow.
@@cleasonleasure4832 very true. This is unsightly but not unsafe. We plan to finish the wall on the other side this weekend and then we can remove that ugly cluster of wires.
A Very nice variety of brands. They're all good investments.
Well said.
thanks for the tool box tour, those olsa flex head ratchets are top notch.
I’ve enjoyed them so far. No issues yet!
I WAS looking at the 42 inch model of this box, but after watching your video, I am seriously reconsidering.

Awesome feedback! Thank you!
Great tour! Thanks
Thank you! It was a blast to make!
Nice shop. Great tour.
Like my shop it’s for working on your own equipment.
I have the US Gen 11 top & bottom 56”.
It’s great. But I need more space.
I added a series 3 42” to go next to my 56” I don’t really need it but I got a great deal on it and I have room to grow.
Nice set up! I love my olsa ratchets
I think those stubby ratchet wrenches are one of the best in market. Unless you’re looking to spend Snap-on money.

Clean your screw drivers with silicone lube spray. It will clean the tool off real quick and look new.
I’ll try that today!
What a tool collection. Everything looks new and unused!
Most of them are new. But…I do fuss after my stuff and keep it pristine.
@@DemoDad101 might as well just buy stuff at harbor freight

Tractors, automobiles, whatever else fits in the building. I’m a bit of a tool collector.

As an electrician, that electrical in your shop is painful to see

That's why I bought a 72" bc u are bursting out of the drawers. I still have more to get unfortunately, alot more.
The main drawers on the 72 are identical in size.
I’m sorry, but that background noise (music?) is very annoying! Nice tool set up, though.
Yeah, I’m still fine tuning how I want the videos to feel. I think intro music is nice but I may ditch all music after that.
Lnao. Your hands are cleaner and look less used than the tools !!! Sry
I should hope so! I bathe regularly.
Who did the electrical work behind u? They need 4 more years of training. Pure slop work.

I have no electric in my shop right now. I would be so pleased to have that regardless of what it looks like
Sloppy electrical can cause fires
