- I absolutely love the mission and heart of this organization. The Hope Squad program was built by educators in partnership with mental health experts, as an evidence-based training changes how schools approach mental health and suicide prevention. Together in collaboration with my song Mean Girls we want to encourage every single person that you are so so loved, and so so valuable and be a voice that provides hope, along with resources for those struggling. ❤️
Hope Squads help to reduce youth suicide through education, training, and peer intervention. Hope Squad members are nominated by their classmates as trustworthy peers and trained by advisors. Working together, there is HOPE that suicide can be prevented. Learn more here: hopesquad.com/

This hit real close to home for me. Made me realize how important we can be to someone, how much words can either lift us up, or hurt us. I lost a best friend recently, she lost her battle with depression and it's tough to know that people are struggling, because I am too. My biological mother was never in my life, neither was my father, I was kinda raised by my aunt. The way I see it, my life wasn't perfect, but I will ALWAYS be there for those in need, so they never have to feel alone like I have before. The world is too heavy for one shoulder to hold. You're really making an impact, Leanna, a big difference.
