- Travelling Allowance or “TA” means the allowance for accommodation, meals and incidental expenses paid to an employee who is directed to travel on official business by his or her controlling officer. Not specified but thumb rule is that Ordinary DA, if returns same day.Enhanced DA, if journey is for more than one day& govt Employee stay there.

Good evening Sir, Sir if any class I officer is given Additional charges i.e. Rampur beyond 130 Kms from original place of posting i.e. Shimla. If, he is claiming one Journey day i.e. Tuesday to Go to Rampur and One Day Journey i.e. Thursday to Shimla and Work there on Wednesday. Joins in Shimla on Friday and use same thing regularly. So ....under which Rule he is eligible for journey day. If he eligible or not ?..please tell ...
This is not covered under joining time Rule, this is a part of journey (under TA Rule).
