, I love Marillion, and... Waww..., I discovered Pendragon by chance, I was slapped! It's simply nectar for the ears, I regret not having known them sooner...Magnificent
Pendragon without Clive Nolan and with an additional guitar player ? I didn't know about this. joe Crabtree is a really good drummer, who joined Wishbone Ash just after. It's a great song, the one that hooked me to like Pendragon back in 1986, on "9:15 Live"?. But the filming/editing... Nick Barrett in one of his best guitar solos ever and the camera shows anybody but him and jumps from one musician to another too fast without concentrating on him... That's a pity.
It's a reunion with old members and it's ok... But i tend to agree with you, sometime bad editing can ruin the whole thing, in this case, i'd prefer to see Nick's amazing solo instead of a whole shot of the venue with the crane cam...
Thank you for answering me. Ah, yes, I didn't buy this DVD but I now seem to remember a reunion with some past members of Pendragon, so maybe this is Rik Carter. Well,we agree on this particular way of editing the filming, but I didn't want to sound negative. The music is great and the sound is good. Thank you for uploading this excerpt. :o))
Yes it was a good show originally pendragon had two guitar players and no keyboard When it was formed in 1977-1978 Nigel Harris drums Stan cox bass Julian baker (jools baker) rhythm guitar and nick So I was the second guitar along with joe Rick Pete and nick I then played sax on 2am Yeh good night we didn’t go on stage until 1.30am two other band’s were filmed before us so we had to liven things up
Happy memories of seeing them at the old Marquee on Wardour Street. Sorry to Nick, I stole his slide - don't know why, but seemed like a good idea at the time.
J'ai écouté ton clip et effectivement tu as un sérieux probleme de son, mais j'ai aucune idée pourquoi... Moi je découpe mon vidéo et le converti en AVI avec "Freemake video converter" et ensuite je l'ajoute sur UA-cam...
