For pull out cabinet storage - be careful if you have cabinets with a lip - some of the pull outs do not work with a lip. Perhaps a sheet of plywood to rise the floor of the cabinet in order to overcome the lip might help.
Great ideas. I feel your small rental kitchen pain! I have one drawer in my kitchen and it is about half the size of your bag storage one. I have my knives there, as well as my baking parchment and napkins. One of the things I found helped with the drawer not getting stuck was to cut the top lid piece of cardboard off the baking parchment box. It was always getting caught on the top of the drawer and jamming it. I also cut round cork coasters in half and placed them together to push the knife tips into. The cork coasters were so much cheaper than trying to buy bits of cork, or one of the pre-made cork ones. I got 10 for £1 (here in the UK) and used two packs. Moving my cabinet shelves up or down to provide better storage for the items I had helped fit stuff in, and I even removed one completely, which allowed me to put my kitchen bin and recycling bin inside instead of tripping over them all the time. You worked wonders in your tiny space and I love those pull out drawers. I agree, they are generally pretty pricey, so it's great you can take them elsewhere. 🥰
A great budget-friendly (and renter-friendly) alternative to installing slide-out drawers is to just place a plastic serving tray or baking sheet on the shelf that is about the width and depth of the cabinet. If the items on it aren’t too heavy, it should be easy enough to slide out far enough to see what you have in there. If you need more “glide”, you can buy miniature stick-on casters for a couple of bucks.
Love it!!! 2:40 Don’t be afraid to adjust those shelves! I do it all the time, the items above your spices are pretty short so you might be able to go up a peg ❤
Your tips require spending quite a bit of money. I use boxes of all sizes from Costco (free cardboard ones), the amazon boxes, cereal boxes, etc, and cut them to size - like making a short magazine holder type box from their chicken broth box, etc etc. All free. Helped to save so much money, and saves the earth also.
Two words for you. Thank you. All those things you mentioned I need them. This is why I subscribed and hit like button to your channel. Love your video. You explained things so well. You just made my day. Looking forward to your next video. Take care. I am glad that I watchyour channel.
It looks as if you could slide your gallon bag holder toward the back and still be able to easily access the bags. This would bring that small leftover space to the front, making it also easy to access.
What hacks do you suggest for small kitchen drawers? Extra small to be exact, I can’t even fit in a small silverware tray. I’m having a hard time coming up with a workable solution so my silverware (especially) isn’t free floating in the drawer! 😅
If you don't mind things on your counter, buy a silverware caddy (like the ones used for outdoors) and store your silverware in it. If you're like me and don't want anything on your countertop, just store the caddy in a cabinet, upper or lower. The small drawers can be used for spices or cooking untesils such as spatulas, tongs, long-handled spoons, measuring cups, or measuring spoons.
We have long very thin containers in our local KMart (Aus) which you should probably be able to also get somewhere - if you put one in the middle of the drawer, you can have 3 spots for silverware. Alternatively, drawer dividers - thin plastic ones rather than wood, because it will take up less space.
Check office organization products, too. There are all sizes of individual plastic drawer bins. You might need separate ones for each utensil, knives, forks, and spoons etc.
That's what I originally wanted to do, but the way the holes for the shelf pins in my cabinets are, it would make the other shelves way too small. But luckily they all fit on the bottom tier!
I would much rather have renters use small screws than adhesive pads. I just spent hours and hours trying everything to remove adhesive pads from the shower, the cabinets, the window casings…. it was difficult and painful for my arthritic hands.
Hi Alli! New subscriber here! I just moved to my apartment and I was wondering if you would like to help me style/decorate it? It’s currently empty and I’m somewhat clueless and lost. I hope I hear from you 🙏🏻

I am going to purchase garbage bag holder. Spice rack is an amazing idea. Thank you so much for sharing this great video.
Thanks for the great tips! We recently moved from a house into an apartment and all these items are winners!

Very happy subscriber here.
Thank you for all your hard work!
I’m definitely all about the renter friendly hacks.

@@3TXSisters ooh I like that idea! And yah, I don’t like much on my countertops but I have plenty of cabinets!! Thanks!
There is a narrow silverware holder, about 13" long and 6" wide, with pockets. Compact cutlery drawer organizer.

Awesome ideas Alli! 🥰🤗
Those are great tips! Thank you for sharing them.
Your shelf height could be adjusted to better fit your spices.

Make sure you’re not reaching into open blades in your drawers … that part was giving me anxiety (like the pizza cutter)
Are the bag organizers different sizes? Or universal? Just wondering because you didn't mention measuring
New subbie ! Thanks for sharing the useful hacks !
Hi and welcome! Thanks for watching! 💜
Thank You

Have you tried heating the adhesive with a blow dryer or heat gun? That will help soften the adhesive and hopefully make it easier to remove.
I did not know ACV was supposed got refrigerated!!!

I rather not pay money for your dividers when I can store all my wrapping stuff without paying money to store thank you
Then don’t but some people appreciate the different ideas
