hell yeah, 12 chapters, maybe uncover some more bits of the map, with less aggressive machines (pre-derangement) and more human settlements and NPCs. Maybe they should introduce Rost's story as a DLC prequel
I think we are going to learn a lot more of this incident in the sequel. The raiders feel significant... the way they attacked for no reason, the unexplained activities and sounds they were doing from Devil's Thirst. Teersa specifically says Rost went to the FW to track them down. On the other hand, maybe a questline explaining it all was just cut from the final version of the game, but these details still remain in game.
I would like to think the 12th raider survived and Alloy will find him and find out who he is and finish him off herself. These raiders do seem oddly significant though. I am willing to bet they will be in the second game.
I feel like this story is a foreshadowing of what will happen to Aloy in the next game. Hunting twelve AIs, bringing them back. Doubtless the last one will be a reborn Hades, which will likely nearly kill her.
The sadder one is the vantage point collectables set out by Bashar Mati, where that guy put all those holograms up and spoke about his and his mothers history together. Quite the tear-jerker.
