This is exactly correct. For any tool that mines multiple blocks at a time, it does this effect. (hammer, drill, draconic staff, some other tool I can't think of or are unaware of.)
Saplings produce biomass based on their Sappiness. A proper sapling would produce 2250mB of Biomass. You'd also could increase Yield of fruit and the amount of saplings you get from a tree. His current setup is basically the worst you could have for biomass production.
I'd rather him just set up a cloche or two with potatoes and run them through an IE industrial squeezer. Let's him bypass the silly biomass/still setup.
If Uranium is your aim, you are better off using the IE Excavator in a uranium chunk, which will get you hundreds of stacks in a few hours, even with the lens you don't get much uranium from the void ore miner

Yeah, and if the IE excavator wasn't such a hassle to use, he might use it. The Void miners can be placed anywhere. You have to spend (up to) hours to find a good place for the excavator, and when it runs out, it runs out.
Not really. Look at the minimap as he digs down. He's not in a cave-heavy biome, it makes it statistically safer. Doesn't mean you should ever do that yourself. It doesn't take that much longer to dig a nearly 100% safe 2x1 shaft downwards where you stand between the two blocks so they both support you. Dire was just impatient.
Stack of Diamonds? That's easy - Macerate/SAG Mill 64 stacks of Coal, combine them with 8 stacks of Flint, compress them down, then combine them with a stack of Obsidian/Brick blocks and compress again. Dire, you have the Coal to spare!
Ethos lab did some testing and the wiki says stuff about hunger. I believe every 400 blocks uses up one hunger point (half a shank). If you're mining through roughly 40 blocks a second, that will use up tons of hunger. So I don't believe that there is anything extra 'zapping' your hunger
Loving the excavator from immersive. I hooked up a 25% complete lightning rod array from calculator and the excavator only runs when the capacitor its 85% full. I'm pulling about a stack of uranium in 5-10 min!

hunter stinnett he would have to break the T2 miner down since their shapes are slightly different. I think it will be better to have 2 separate machines. So he can jus disconnect 1 if needed
The Grid Power numbers mess up when you quit your world and go back into it or another. You can fix them by deleting the XU2 related file in your save folder.
This bug happens to me in my world, and I have no intention to fix it. GP is kinda useless anyways since it is so cheap to produce and is infinite. I'd rather just not have to set up more water mills, and just let the bug be my source of GP.
Dire you should make a dimension from RF tools that is full of you matter when you have the resources and then use an ender tank and transport it to your base then infinite you matter
Power is a moot point since he's nowhere near the age where you can create dimensions ... which is near the end of the pack. I wish you guys would let up withe the "create dimensions/setup AE/build T4 void miner/use mekanism block x" stuff. Everything is gated in this pack and all the OP shit is gated until way late.

Why not use 3 ender chests instead of crates for the voice miners? That way u can have one collecting from each, and a third that connects to the input crate. Or just use conduits to connect to the input line. Either or works. Then you can hide everything
Compacting drawers are expensive in this pack. They need Calculator items, which Dire has... kinda not put much work into. Dire could afford to replace some of his drawers, but it's not a no brainer like it would be with default recipes.
I don't recall compacting drawers taking circuits - drawer controllers take those. Compacting drawers take a bunch of obsidian but they are TOTALLY worth the effort in this pack. Using them is a good suggestion - super glad I did.

You may already know this, but you can't scan Octadic Capacitors. A basic Capacitor needs 4.722 mB of UUM.

The Dimensional Builder needed stuff from later ages as far as I can remember. The Excavator is the easiest (and best) way for Dire now.

The bug is only a visual bug. You do not have millions of GP. You still need to build all the stuff.
