Of course Dom needs to be fit, but when he is fit, he is one of the best "old-fashioned", and still also modern all-round centre-forwards there is today. Should be with England in this summer's Euro's.
And imo DCL is a worthy successor to Dixie Dean, Tommy Lawton, Dave Hickson, Fred Pickering, Alex Young, Joe Royle, Bob Latchford, Graeme Sharp, Duncan Ferguson and Romelu Lukaku.
Mind you, talking about great "traditional" centre-forwards, Everton are really the premium club when we think which club have had in their history the most number of really good number 9's. Newcastle United come close to us, but we still edge them, too.

Hope we can strike a deal for Harrison if its on loan again, I can see Young and Coleman staying, no issue with that given the circumstances but we need a better mix KT knows what hes doing even if the rest of us have no clue. I think Everton is at its best in the market when we have to do our work on transfers.

I agree with Ped...to a degree...BUT this "Modern Football" isnt for me....i watched Football in the 70's/80's...and there were "Mavericks" everywhere...Football is supposed to be an "Entertainment Business".....if i want to watch "Robots" i've got STAR WARS for that! OUT.
